Market Street Washington C.H., Ohio (740) SEPTEMBER NEWS Last updated 09/20/ /18/17 TRAFFIC CRASH: Karen Hall of Sabina, Oh was traveling west on Milledgeville Octa Rd. Hall traveled left of center striking a vehicle traveling east on Milledgeville Octa Rd. No injuries were reported. Hall was issued a citation for Failure to Drive on Right side of Roadway. CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Charles Fultz of Washington CH reports a known subject came to his residence that he does not want there. Deputies made contact with the male and advised him not to return. TRAFFIC CRASH: Kimberly Williams of Washington CH was traveling east on US 35 and lost control of her vehicle. Williams traveled off the left side of the roadway overcorrected traveling off the right side of the roadway overturning. Williams was transported to a medical facility for treatment. Williams was later issued a citation for Failure to Control. 9/17/17 THEFT: Old Navy reported a subject entered the business and departed with merchandise without making payment. Christine Stevens of West Portsmouth, Oh and Leanna Trischler of Kermit, WV were arrested and charged. CRIMINAL MISCHEIF: James Wary of Washington CH reported someone removed his mail from his mailbox and threw it on the ground. AGGRAVATED MENACING: Raymond Lynch of Bloomingburg reported receiving threats from known male subject. Prosecution was declined in the matter. BURGLARY/THEFT/CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Courtney Clements of Cincinnati, Oh reported unknown person(s) entered her camper and removed items from inside. BURGLARY: Sheriff s Deputies responded to Colonial Dr. in the Village of Jeffersonville on a Burglary complaint. Person(s) gained entry into the residence however nothing was stolen at the time of the report. THEFT: Deputies responded to Old Navy, located at the Tanger Outlet Mall to the report of a theft. Employees identified two female suspects and confirmed a theft occurred. The suspects were located in a vehicle on the lot of McDonalds a short time later. Christine Stevens age 45 of

2 Portsmouth, Ohio and Leanna Trischler age 25 of Kermit, West Virginia were taken into custody and charged for the theft offense. FIGHT/PROT ORDER VIOLATION: Deputies responded to McDonalds on 435 a Tanger Outlet Mall to the report of a fight. Upon arrival deputies located several subjects who advised a verbal altercation had occurred and a threat was made with a firearm. While investigating the complaint deputies discovered a protection order was in place ordering no contact between two involved subjects and two juveniles who were all present. The respondent in the protection order identified as Derryn Egan, age 27 of Cincinnati, Ohio was taken into custody for Violating a Protection Order/Consent Agreement. 9/15/17 DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Sheriff s deputies responded to the Speedway in Octa on a complaint of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance. David L. Shutler (at large) was arrested without incident, and charged in the offense. TRAFFIC CRASH: Dustin A. Reed of Greenfield reported he was traveling northbound in the area of 8478 S R 41 South when Reed struck a deer in the roadway. ASSAULT/ DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to N. Main St. In the Village of Jeffersonville on a Domestic Complaint. A known female allegedly assaulted two subjects. Amy Adams was located at the scene and placed under arrest for Assault and Domestic Violence. TELEPHONE HARASSMENT/ LITTERING: Ryan Weller of Greenfield Ohio reported telephone harassment from a known male. Weller further advised person(s) unknown placed screws in his driveway. Investigation pending. THEFT/CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Amber Cline of Washington CH Ohio reported a male removing item s from her property on US Rte 35. Cline reported the male was driving a black Dodge truck and departed the area. Deputies located the vehicle matching the description and made contact with Darrell Russell of Washington CH Ohio. After completion of the investigation Russell was charged in the incident. TRAFFIC CRASH: A two-car motor vehicle crash was reported on Greenfield-Sabina Road at York Road. Nancy Cox of Greenfield was transported by squad to a local area hospital for medical treatment Cynthia K. Johnson of Chillicothe was cited for Failure to Yield. Hope E. Rowland of Greenfield was cited for Driving under Suspension DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s deputies responded to Old SR 38 on a domestic incident. Upon arrival all parties involved were identified and it was determined that no assault or threats of violence had occurred TRAFFIC CRASH: A single-car motor vehicle crash was reported on Stafford Road near Patton Road. Kiara Price of Leesburg was transported by squad to a local area hospital for medical treatment. Price was cited for Failure to Control. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Michelle Hunt of Washington CH reported she was involved in a verbal dispute with a family member.

3 TRAFFIC CRASH: Courtney Michael of Hillsboro, OH was traveling west on US 22. Michael failed to observe vehicle stopped in traffic striking the rear of the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Michael was issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to the area of U.S. Route 62 South near the intersection of Miami Trace Rd. in Concord Township for a single vehicle crash. Michael Manor of Washington C.H., Ohio was traveling north when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a concrete post. No injuries reported. Manor was cited for failure to control and fictitious registration. TRAFFIC CRASH: A two-car motor vehicle crash was reported on U S Rte 62 South at Jamison Road. Jarrod L. Mick of Washington CH was transported by squad to a local area hospital for medical treatment. Kayla Overstake of Hillsboro was cited for Failure to Yield. ASSAULT/AGGRAVATED MENACING: Latasha D. Wheeler of Milledgeville reported she was threatened and assaulted by a known person. Wheeler declined prosecution at the time of the report. ASSAULT: Deputies responded to the Miami Trace Elementary on a reported assault. Contact was made with Fayette County Children Services. Investigation pending THEFT: Jon Boltenhouse reported person(s) unknown removed a chain saw from his property without consent. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s deputies responded to Barrett Rd on a domestic incident. Upon arrival all parties involved were identified and it was determined that no assault or threats of violence had occurred. INDUCING PANIC: A report was made regarding a juvenile posting offensive material on a social media site. The juvenile was DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: 15 y/o juvenile reported being assaulted by a known female. Amy Putney of Washington CH was arrested and charged in the matter. MENACING: Derek Myers of Jeffersonville Ohio reported while at Dettys Gas Station Dustin Kinder of Jeffersonville Ohio made physical threats against him. Upon the completion of the investigation Kinder was charged in the incident THEFT: Sandra Rowe of Mt Sterling reported person(s) unknown removed her purse from her vehicle. THEFT: Tommy Hilfiger reported a female entered the business and departed with merchandise without making payment. Deputies made contact with the female. Gwyneth Anderson of Columbus was arrested and charged in the matter. CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Mindy Pendergraft of Washington CH Ohio reported while her vehicle was parked at her residence on Rowe Ging Rd person(s) unknown caused damage by spray painting her vehicles.

4 VEHICULAR ASSAULT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to State Route 435 in Jefferson Township on a Vehicular Assault complaint. Reports indicate that while the victim was driving down Old U.S. Route 35 he was stuck by another unknown vehicle and driver. The victim states that he attempted to get away from the vehicle but it followed and continued to strike his vehicle. The investigation is still ongoing. HIT SKIP TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff Deputies responded to a hit skip traffic crash on State Route 435 near the US Route 35 East off ramp to State Route 435 in Jefferson Township. Keith Rooney of Kingston, Ohio was traveling Westbound on State Route 435 when he was struck on the left side by a blue ford Focus who pulled off the 35 off Ramp. Rooney stated once the vehicle struck him, it continued traveling Westbound on State Route 435. No injuries were reported. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of US Rte 22 East near Old Chillicothe Rd within Union Township. Geoggrey Moore of Allenhurst, Georgia attempted to make a right turn on to old Chillicothe Rd from US Rte 22 when Moor s trailer went off the right side of the roadway hitting a utility pole. Moore was cited for Failure to control FOUND PROPERTY: Sheriff s deputies responded to Wayne Street in Bloomingburg on found property. The item was collected and placed in to evidence. PROTECTION ORDER SERVICE: Sheriff s deputies responded to the Fayette County Jail for a protection order service. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to a vehicle crash on the lot of the Miami Trace Elementary school within Union Township. Justin Puckett of South Solon, Ohio was attempting to back up when he failed to see another vehicle behind him being driven by Tina Harper of Jeffersonville, Ohio. Puckett struck Tina s vehicle causing damage. Minor injuries were reported. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff Deputies responded to State Route 729 near Walnut Street in Jefferson Township for a 2 vehicle crash. While a Miami Trace School bus was stopped on State Route 729 loading children, it was struck in the rear by a vehicle operated by Cheryl Card of Jeffersonville Ohio. Some of the passengers on the bus were treated at the scene and some transported to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. Card was cited for failure to control. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: A female reported she was involved in a verbal dispute with a family member. DRUG ABUSE/DRUG ABUSE INSTRUMENTS/ DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: Sheriff s deputies responded with EMS to Hidy Rd on reports of an unresponsive male. Narcan was administered by EMS. During the investigation drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments were located. TRAFFIC CRASH: A single-car motor vehicle crash was reported on Bush Road near Palmer Road. Jake R. Todd of Bellbrook was cited for Failure to Control TRAFFIC CRASH: Cara Carpenter of New Holland was traveling south on Mills Rd and struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported.

5 THEFT: Donna Sears of Jeffersonville reported person(s) unknown made an unauthorized charged to her credit card TELEPHONE HARRASSMENT: Brandi Pence of Jeffersonville reported receiving unwanted messages from a known male subject. AGGRAVATED MENACING: Justin Wright of Jeffersonville reported during a verbal altercation with a known male subject he was threatened TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Greenfield-Sabina Rd. Dustin Mann of Wilmington, Ohio was eastbound when he failed to maintain control and traveled of the left side of the roadway striking a tree. Mann s vehicle was towed from the scene. Mann was cited for Failure to Control. THEFT: TJ Maxx reported a female entered the business obtained merchandise and departed without making payment. Amanda Allen of Washington CH was arrested and charged in the matter. IDENTITY THEFT: Sheriff deputies responded to the Fayette County Sheriff s Office reference an Identity theft complaint. Charles McGhee of Jeffersonville, Ohio had an unknown person or person s change the address on his credit card without his permission. The investigation is ongoing. FORGERY: Sheriff s deputies responded to 6451 US Route 22 in reference to a Forgery complaint. Terry Stuckey of Washington C.H., Ohio was in the process of trying to purchase a new home when he found out someone had forged his initials and signature on the contract. The investigation is ongoing. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s deputies responded to Locust Grove Rd on a domestic incident. Upon arrival all a parties involved were identified and it was determined that no assault or threats of violence had occurred POSSESSION OF DRUG ABUSE INSTRUMENTS: Sheriff s deputies received an anonymous tip that a male subject was in the area of Woodsview Dr and the male subject had an active warrant. Deputies made contact and hypodermic syringes were located on the male subject. Troy Estep of Jeffersonville was arrested and charged in the matter. BREAKING & ENTERING;THEFT: Glen Reeves of Washington CH reported sometime within the past 6 months persons unknown entered his property, removing a license plate from a trailer TRAFFIC CRASH: Trenton Maag of Washington CH was traveling north on Stafford Rd and lost control of his vehicle traveling off the left side of the roadway. Maag overcorrected traveling off the right side of the roadway into the ditch overturning. Maag was transported to a medical facility for treatment of injuries. Maag was issued a citation for Failure to Control. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Old U.S. Route 35 near Edgefield Rd. Donald Davis of Jamestown, Ohio was northbound on Old U.S. Route 35 when

6 he traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a utility pole. Members from Fayette County EMS and Jefferson Township Fire responded to the scene. Davis vehicle was towed from the scene. Davis was cited for Failure to Control and OVI. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to State Route 753 in Wayne Township on a Domestic Violence complaint. A female reported she was assaulted by a known male. Austin Grubb was placed under arrest for Domestic Violence and transported to the Fayette County Jail. CRIMINAL DAMAGING/ MEACING: Sheriff s Deputies Responded to Flakes Ford Rd. for a criminal damage and menacing complaint. Daniel Speakman was later located and charged with OVI and Unsafe Vehicle and transported to the Fayette County Jail. CRIMINAL TRESPASS/DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Deputies responded to a residence Clyburn Ave in reference to an intoxicated male at a neighboring residence. Danny Collins of Washington CH was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication and criminal trespassing. DRUG ABUSE INSTRUMENT/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: Deputies were dispatched to a disabled vehicle on US Route 62 within Madison Township. Sheriff s K-9 was requested at the scene. During a search of the vehicle several hypodermic needles and pvc pipe with burns marks were located inside the vehicle. Misty Molina of Beaver Oh was arrested for possession of drug abuse instrument and drug paraphernalia. TRAFFIC CRASH: Jack Wisecup of Sabina Oh was operating an ATV on private property when a part of the ATV part failed causing him to lose control and roll the ATV. He was flown by medical helicopter from the scene for treatment TRAFFIC CRASH/HITSKIP/ Unknown driver was west bound on Milledgeville Octa Rd at State Route 729. The vehicle attempted to turn right onto State Route 729, but failed to turn wide enough and struck a stop sign. The vehicle departed the area. TRAFFIC CRASH/HITSKIP: Person unknown was traveling east on Milledgeville Octa Rd. Person Unknown made a right turn onto SR 729 striking a stop sign. Person unknown departed the scene of the crash TRAFFIC CRASH: The Fayette County Sheriff s Office responded to a two vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of US 62 at the Walmart access Rd. During the investigation, it was discovered Aaron Aber of Wilmington was eastbound on 62 near the access Rd when a vehicle operated by Mary Eubanks of Washington CH, turned right from the access Rd onto US 62 and failed to yield Both vehicles received minor damage. Eubanks was cited for Failure to Yield. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on State Route 41 North near 5633 State Route 41 North within Jefferson Township. Austin Howe of Jeffersonville, Ohio was traveling North on State Route 41 when he failed to control his vehicle going around a curve. Howe s vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway then left of center into the ditch before coming to rest in a bean field. No injuries were reported. Howe was cited for failure to control.
