Market Street Washington C.H., Ohio (740) NEWS THEFT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a complaint of theft that occurred at Coach outlet store. Employee s advised that an unknown male entered the store and removed various items and departed without paying. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to SR 435 near the Westbound Exit ramp from US 35 in reference to a traffic crash. Jaxon Reilly of Kenilworth, IL was attempted to make a right turn off of the West bound exit ramp from US Rte 35 on to SR 435 when Reilly lost control of his vehicle in the snow. Reilly s vehicle then struck a guardrail causing no damage. No injuries were reported. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to Flakes Ford Rd near 191 Flakes Ford Rd within Union Township for a single vehicle traffic crash. Celeste Donato of Washington C.H, Ohio was traveling Eastbound on Flakes Ford Rd near 191 Flakes Ford Rd, when Donato lost control of her vehicle. Donato traveled of the right side of the roadway into the ditch striking a utility pole. No injuries were reported, Donato was cited for failure to control. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a deer crash that occurred on Interstate 71 North bound at the 71 mile post. Andrew West of Columbus, Ohio was traveling north bound when a deer entered into his lane of travel. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to SR 38 near Linden Ave in reference to a 2 vehicle traffic crash. Daniel Drake of Bloomingburg, Ohio was traveling southbound on SR 38 near Linden Ave when Drake failed to stop for another vehicle in front of him operated by Jason Shelley of Washington C.H., Ohio. Drake was cited for ACDA. Shelley was cited for leaving the scene of an accident. DRUG ABUSE/RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY: Sheriff s deputies responded to the Baymont Inn on reports of two subject with active warrants. Deputies made contact and a consent to search of the hotel room was given. During the search suspected narcotics and stolen property was recovered

2 SUSPICIOUS PHONE CALL: A male reported he received a phone call from a suspicious female who identified herself as an employee of the courts. No personal information was given. BURGLARY: Green Township Trustees reported sometime between November and December their building was entered and items were stolen DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Deputies responded to a residence on US Rte 62 on reports of a domestic dispute. Deputies made contact with all involved parties, it was determined that no verbal threats or physical assault occurred. TRAFFIC CRASH: Kenneth Mcconahy of Washington CH was attempting to negotiate a curve while he was traveling westbound on Rowe Ging Rd. At which time due to inclement roadways he ran off road right entered the ditch and struck a fence. No injuries were reported. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash SR 41 South near Washington New Martinsburg Rd. Donald Jones of Washington C.H., Ohio was traveling North bound when he lost control Striking a trailer being towed by Jason Addis of South Salem, Ohio. Donald Jones was cited for failure to control THEFT: Employees of Michael Kors reported unknown male removed merchandise from the business without making payment. MISCELLANEOUS: Joshua Finch of Greenfield, OH reported receiving phone calls and text messages from a known person in which he has a no contact order against. Finch was referred to the court for further TRAFFIC CRASH: Austin Payton of Washington CH was traveling northbound on Palmer Rd when he attempted to turn right onto Old US 35. He lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a utility pole. Austin Payton was issued a citation for failure to control. No injuries were reported. CRIMINAL DAMAGING/THEFT: William Glispie of Washington CH reported unknown person(s) forced entry into his vehicle and removed property. UNRULY: Deputies responded to a residence on Curtis St in reference to an unruly juvenile. The juvenile was located and counseled on her actions. TRAFFIC CRASH: Jason Paul of Washington CH was traveling southbound on US 62 within Concord Township. He ran off road right overcorrected and crossed the center line. Overcorrected again and ran off road right entering the ditch. Traveled thru the ditch and struck a utility pole. The Concord Green Fire Department, Fayette County Ems, and the Fayette County Sheriff s Response team all responded to the scene. Jason Paul was issued a citation for failure to control. Injured occupants were transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY: Sheriff s deputies responded to SR 41 in reference to a male subject causing problems. During the investigation it was determined that the license plate on the vehicle was stolen. Jack Butler II of Dolton, IL was arrested and charged in the matter.

3 DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s deputies responded to Locust Grove Rd on a domestic incident. Upon arrival all parties involved were identified and it was determined that no assault or threats of violence had occurred. THEFT: Lisa Conger of Jeffersonville reported her bank information was used and money was taken without consent CRIMINAL DAMAGING/THEFT: Edward Patrick of Kingston, OH reports person(s) forcibly entered his vehicle and removed property from inside FATAL TRAFFIC CRASH: The Fayette County Sheriff s Office is investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred Christmas evening on S.R. #41SE near Flakes Ford Road in Union Township. The crash was reported at 9:11 p.m. According to Sheriff Vernon Stanforth, a 2009 Toyota Camry operated by Blake A. Rife, Age 32 of Washington C.H., Ohio was traveling south on S.R. #41 when Rife lost control of the vehicle. Rife traveled off the left side of the roadway striking a utility pole and collided with a tree where the vehicle came to rest. A small fire erupted upon the vehicle colliding with the tree but was extinguished as first responders arrived at the scene. Rife was the sole occupant in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner s Office. The vehicle sustained heavy damage in the crash and was towed from the scene. Members of the Sheriff s Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit were called to the scene and are conducting the investigation. Other first responders, including Fayette County EMS, Washington Fire Department, and the Sheriff s Rescue Unit all responded to the crash scene to assist. Members of the Ohio Department of Transportation also responded and provided traffic control during the crash investigation. S.R. #41 between Flakes Ford Rd and Anderson Rd remained closed for several hours during the crash investigation. Speed was a factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff s Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a Hit Skip Traffic Crash that occurred on Hickory Lane in Union Township. A black Jeep SUV was traveling eastbound when it failed to negotiate a curve striking the guardrail then fled the area. The investigation is ongoing ARSON/CRIMINAL TRESPASSING/CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Sheriff s Deputies and Tri- County Fire responded to a report of a barn fire on Cook Yankeetown Rd. in Madison Township. Michael Staton reported that his barn was on fire. When Fire personnel arrived at the scene. they observed a vehicle fleeing the area. The investigation is ongoing. PUBLIC INDECENCY: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a report of Public Indecency at the Love s Truck Stop. Report indicates that the manager of the business observed two unknown males using the restroom outside of the business TRAFFIC CRASH: Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover crash on the 35 On ramp from St Rt 435. Josie Grooms, age 21 of Cedarville Ohio advised she was traveling westbound on the on ramp when she lost control on patch of ice on the roadway. The 2013 Chevy slid into a concrete barrier where it flipped onto its top and slid another 20 yards where it came to a rest. Grooms was issued a citation for failure to control. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to N. North Street near Earl Ave for a single vehicle traffic crash. Franklin McCullah of Washington C.H., Ohio was traveling south bound on

4 N. North Street when he lost control of his vehicle going off the right side of the roadway in to the ditch striking a fence. No injuries were reported. McCullah was cited for failure to control. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 3000 Block of Bogus Rd in reference to a domestic dispute. A male and female got in to an argument without either person being verbally or physically assaulted DRUG ABUSE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a report of a Drug Abuse complaint on Washington New Martinsburg Rd. in Perry Twp. Reports indicate that a male at the residence was unresponsive from a possible overdose. EMS personal arrived and was administered Narcan and the male became responsive. The male was transported by EMS to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. TRAFFIC CRASH: Ray Gunter of Crossville, TN was backing in a parking space on the lot of Love s Truck stop. Gunter failed to observe the vehicle parked beside him striking the vehicle. No injuries were reported. TRAFFIC CRASH: Jenna Hutchinson of South Solon, OH was traveling north on SR 729 and lost control of her vehicle. Hutchinson traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a tree. No injuries were reported. Hutchinson was issued a citation for Failure to Control. LITTERING: Sheriff s deputies responded to the area of SR 41 North and Creamer Rd in reference to a littering complaint. Unknown person(s) dumped several bags of trash along the road then departed. The investigation is ongoing. TRAFFIC CRASH: Andrew Donaldson of Mt Sterling, Oh was traveling west on US 35 entrance ramp from SR 753 and lost control of his vehicle. Donaldson traveled off the right side of the roadway overturning. Donaldson refused treatment at the scene. Donaldson was cited for Failure to Control. DRUG ABUSE: During an investigation on Washington Ave suspected narcotics were located on a known female TRAFFIC CRASH: April Adkins of Washington CH was traveling eastbound on Hickory Ln and attempted to negotiate a curve when the driver lost control of her vehicle, running off the right side of the roadway entering a field. Adkins was issued a citation for failure to control. No injuries were reported. THEFT: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 800 Block of Delaware Street in reference to a theft complaint. Unknown person(s) stole a bicycle from their front porch. ASSAULT: Sheriff s deputies responded to the Jamison Rd trailer park in reference to an assault complaint. Two females got in to an alteration with both females claiming they had been assaulted but neither had any injuries. Both females advised they did not wish to pursue criminal charges. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 2000 Block of Hidy Rd in Jefferson Township in reference to a deer crash by driver Cody Gabbert of Jeffersonville, Ohio.

5 THEFT: Sheriff s deputies responded to the Flying J in reference to a Theft complaint. A female subject came into the business and took items without paying for them. The investigation is ongoing. TRAFFIC CRASH: Wesley Wright of Jeffersonville was traveling north on West Lancaster Rd when a deer entered the roadway striking his vehicle. No injuries were reported. BURGLARY/THEFT: Rodger Ferguson of Bloomingburg reported person(s) unknown entered his residence and removed property from inside. ASSAULT: Michael Ditto of Kenneson, GA reports during a traffic involving his vehicle he was assaulted by a male subject. Ditto refused prosecution in the matter. PROTECTION ORDER SERVICE: Sheriff s deputies responded to an East Street resident to serve a protection order pursuant to court order DRUG PARAPHERNALIA/AGGRAVATED TRAFFICKING/DRUG ABUSE: Miami Trace High School employees located drug paraphernalia on known male juvenile students. Upon completion of the investigation two juveniles were charged out of the incident. TRAFFIC CRASH/HIT SKIP: Person unknown was moving from a parking space at Travel Centers of America. Person unknown struck the vehicle parked beside him and departed the scene. ANIMALS NOT PERMITTED TO RUN: Stoney Howe of Washington CH reports while walking his dog on his property when a dog entered his property attacking his dog. BURGLARY: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 9000 Block of Cross Rd in reference to a burglary complaint. While no one was home, unknown person(s) forced entry into the residence. The investigation is ongoing. TRAFFIC CRASH: David Berman of Washington CH was traveling southbound on I-71 near the 64 MM, when he swerved to avoid a disabled vehicle parked outside the lane of travel. When he swerved he lost control of his vehicle and ran off road right striking a guardrail. Berman was issued a citation for failure to control. No injuries were reported. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to US Rte 22 E near the 13 mile post for a single vehicle accident. Tala Hites of New Holland, Ohio was traveling Eastbound on US Rte 22 East when she fell asleep and lost control for her vehicle. Hites vehicle traveled left of center down into a ditch striking a fence. No injuries. Hites was cited for failure to control THEFT: Sheriff s deputies responded to the Jamison Rd trailer park in reference to a theft complaint. A known person(s) stolen items from her residence. The victim declined criminal charges. DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Nathan Carl of Washington CH reported an unknown male subject yelled at him and elbowed him in the arm. BURGLARY/THEFT: Lois Ell of Mt Sterling reported person(s) unknown forcibly entered her residence and removed property from inside.

6 TRAFFIC CRASH: Brian Yoder of Leesburg, OH was traveling west on US 35. Yoder failed to observe a vehicle also west and struck the rear of the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Yoder was issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead. TRAFFIC CRASH: 17 y/o juvenile was traveling east on SR 753 and lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway into the ditch coming to rest in a field. No injuries were reported. The driver was issued a citation for Failure to Control BURGLARY;THEFT : Sheriff s deputies responded the 7000 Block of White Oak Rd in reference to a burglary complaint. Unknown person(s) broke in to the residence and stole items FOUND PROPERTY: George Stacey of Washington CH reported locating a license plate in the ditch near his residence. The license plate was placed it into property for safekeeping. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Brianna Marcum of Jeffersonville reported while in an argument with a male family member she was assaulted. Keith Watson of Jeffersonville was arrested and charged in the offense. TRAFFIC CRASH: Cody Hurley of Jeffersonville Oh was attempting to exit TFO Tech on State St, but failed to yield to Curtis Schlichter of Washington CH who was traveling northbound on State St. Hurley entered the roadway and was struck by Schlichter. Both vehicles suffered minor damages. Hurley was issued a citation for failure to yield from private drive. No injuries were reported. CASUALTY: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 1200 Block of Staunton Sugar Grove Rd in reference to an injured person. A female had fallen down an embankment at the rear of her property. She was taken to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to Marchant-Luttrell Rd. on a complaint that a known person caused damage to his home. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to U.S. Hwy. 22 in Marion Township for a single vehicle deer crash. Teri Luther of Cincinnati, Ohio was traveling westbound when a deer entered into her path of travel. No injuries was reported. TRAFFIC CRASH: Christopher Newman of Elmer, LA was backing into a parking space at Loves Truck Stop. Newman failed observe another vehicle parked on the lot striking the side of the vehicle. No injuries were reported. CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to the American Legion for a Criminal Damage complaint. Michael Mallow advised unknown person(s) caused damage to the front of the business during the overnight hours. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to White Oak Rd. in Madison Township for a Domestic Dispute. Two family members were engaged in a verbal dispute that occurred with no threats or assault. ASSAULT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a complaint of an Assault that occurred at J s Corner. Brooke Creagan advised while at the business she was assaulted by a known female.

7 TELEPHONE HARASSMENT: Dorothy Mann of Washington CH advised she is receiving unwanted phone calls and text messages on her phone from known person(s). Deputies attempted to make contact with the suspects with no success. Mann advised she does not want to pursue charges at this time. DISPUTE: Sheriff s deputies responded to Jamison road trailer park in reference to a domestic dispute. A male and female got in to an argument without either party being verbally or physically assaulted. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to the parking lot at Flying J in reference to vehicle traffic crash. Brittany Locklear of Laurel Hill North Carolina was attempted to make a right turn when she struck another semi being operated by Denard Carlisle of Rochester, NY. No injuries were reported. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to Bogus Rd. on a report of a Domestic Dispute. Two household members were in a verbal dispute with no threats or assault. THEFT: Deputies responded to the Old Navy store located at 8225 Factory Shops Blvd/Tanger Mall reference two male subjects observed concealing items on their person. Upon contact outside the store the two males attempted evade deputies. One male fled on foot and could not be located. The second male was detained and found to be in possession of items from Old Old Navy that were determined to be stolen and damaged. Louis Sherrod, age 38 of Columbus, Ohio was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was charged with Theft and Criminal Damaging. TRAFFIC CRASH: Deputies responded to a two vehicle traffic crash on St Rt 435 at Allen Rd. Upon investigation it was determined that a 2005 Honda Accord southbound on Allen Rd and was attempting to cross 435 when a 2010 Ford Escape attempted a left turn from Allen Rd onto 435 and failed to yield for the oncoming vehicle causing a collision. The occupants of the Honda were transported to Jamestown ER with injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The driver of the Ford identified as Diana Wright, age 54 of Columbus Ohio was cited for failure to yield THEFT/MISUSE OF CREDIT CARD: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 4000 Block of US Rte 62 south for a theft complaint. Unknown person(s) used a credit card not belonging to them at several businesses. MENAICNG: Teshia Johnson of Jeffersonville reported during a conversation with known female she was threatened. Deputies received conflicting statement of the incident. Johnson was referred to the solicitor for possible charges TRAFFIC CRASH: Person unknown was backing in the parking lot of Bloomingburg Spring & Wire. Person unknown struck a vehicle and departed the scene. PROTECTION ORDER SERVICE: Sheriff s deputies made contact with a respondent serving a protection order. The subject was advised of the guidelines of the order and the consequences of any violations. CIVIL/THEFT: Sheriff s deputies responded to McArthur Rd to serve an Order of Replevin. The order was served and Reel Amusements took possession of the property. During the course of the investigation property was found to be missing.

8 CRIMINAL TRESPASSING/FOUND PROPERTY: Sheriff s deputies responded to Jamison road trailer park within Union Township in reference to a found property complaint. Unknown person(s) came onto their property and left a bucket full of misc. tools. The items were taken and placed into evidence for safe keeping. DRUG ABUSE: Sheriff s deputies responded with Ems to Biddle Blvd on a male subject unresponsive. Upon arrival EMS administered treatment and the male subject was transported to a medical facility for treatment. PROTECTION ORDER VIOLATION: A complaint was received alleging a protection order violation. The reportee stated the posts on a social media account were directed towards him. Deputies determined there to be no violation of the protection order TRAFFIC CRASH: Deidre Coates of Washington CH was traveling south on US 62 and struck a dog in the roadway. No injuries were reported. ANIMAL COMPLAINT: Terri Lemaster of Washington CH reported her dog was attacked by two stray dogs. Fayette County Dog Warden was notified of the incident. THEFT: Sheriff s Deputies was advised of a theft complaint that occurred on Creek Rd. Jason Bice stated that over the past months unknown person(s) has been removing mail from his mailbox without his permission BREAKING & ENTERING/THEFT: Teresa Chaffin of Jeffersonville reported person(s) unknown entered the garage at her residence and removed property. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to Forest St. on a report of Domestic Violence. Bradley Ferriman assaulted a known family member while in a argument. Ferriman was placed under arrest for Domestic Violence. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to Harold Rd near Reid Rd in Paint Township in reference to vehicle traffic crash. Reports indicate that Donald Bennett of Jeffersonville, Ohio was attempting to make a right turn on to Reid Rd from Harold Rd, when Bennett lost control of his vehicle. Bennett went off the right side of the roadway and struck an unoccupied vehicle parked at 1507 Harold Rd. Bennett was cited for failure to control. SHOOTING VICTIM NAME RELEASED: Fayette County Sheriff Vernon Stanforth has released the name of the victim from the shooting that was reported on November 28, 2017 at the Center Christian Church parking lot on Garringer-Edgefield Rd in northwest Fayette County. The victim was identified as Lee E. Watkins, Age 25 of Butler County, Ohio. On the evening of the incident, a witness in the area reported observing two vehicles on the church parking lot and at least two subjects outside the vehicles involved in a physical altercation. Shortly thereafter, the witness reported hearing what was believed to be the discharge of a firearm. Upon the arrival of Deputy Jordan Lovely, he located only one vehicle on the parking lot with an incoherent male, later identified as Lee E. Watkins inside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputy Lovely requested response from EMS and a medical helicopter while administering first aid to Watkins pending the arrival of medical personnel. The shooting suspect had left the area before Deputy Lovely arrived. As detectives from the Fayette County Sheriff s Office and BCI&I continue their investigation of the shooting, persons of interest have been identified and the motive involved in the shooting reportedly centers around a robbery or robbery attempt. The investigation of the shooting continues; however, no arrests have been made at this time. Watkins was transported from the scene of the shooting to a trauma center in Columbus, Ohio but has since been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. Mr. Taylor is believed to still be in the Columbus, Ohio area. MENACING: Deputies responded to 404 Peddicord Ave on a report of a disturbance. Deputies spoke with three subjects, all of Washington CH Ohio. All parties involved stated there was no assaulted, however there were threats made against each other. All parties involved were referred to the city solicitor ASSAULT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a complaint of an Assault that occurred on Palmer Rd. Report indicates that staff members at the Ranch of Opportunity was assaulted by a client. All staff members denied criminal charges. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded a single vehicle deer crash that occurred on State Route 753. Melinda Allen of Washington C.H., Ohio was traveling north when a deer entered into her path of travel. No injuries were reported. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on U.S. Route 62 in Union Township. Steven Strait of Columbus, Ohio was traveling south when he traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a mailbox. The driver was cited for failure to control, no injuries was reported. TRAFFIC CRASH: Meghan Streitenberger of Washington CH was traveling south on US 62 and struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s deputies responded to Staunton Jasper Rd on a domestic incident. Upon arrival all parties involved were identified and it was determined that no assault or threats of violence occurred. TAKING THE IDENTITY OF ANOTHER: Dorothy Brandt of Washington CH reported person(s) unknown used her identity withdrawing money from her account.

Upon arrival deputies were advised that no assault or threats of violence had occurred UNRULY: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a complaint of a Unruly Juvenile on Blue Rd. within Paint Twp. Raymond Oliver of Cincinnati lost control due of his vehicle due to inclement weather and struck a guard rail. Oliver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. A female located pills lying in the parking lot in a plastic baggy without anyone them. The pills were taken and placed in to evidence THEFT: Susan Havens of Washington Court House reported unauthorized purchases from her bank account. 11 THEFT: Pettit s Grocery in Bloomingburg reported a known male stole food items from the store. Charges were declined. DRUG PARAPHENALIA/POSSESSION OF DRUGS: While on patrol a Sheriff Deputy noticed a suspicious person on High St. in Jeffersonville. The person was identified as Michelle Stevens of Columbus, Oh, Ms. Stevens was found to be a wanted person and was placed under arrest. While completing the arrest process the Deputy located suspected drug paraphernalia and drugs on her person. BREAKING AND ENTERING/THEFT: Sheriff s deputies responded to Woodsview Square in Jeffersonville in reference to a breaking and entering and theft complaint. Unknown person(s) broke in to an unoccupied apartment and stole items. CRIMINAL TRESPASSING/CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 1000 Block of Washington New Martinsburg Rd in reference to a Criminal Trespassing and Criminal Damaging complaint. Unknown person(s) came on to the property and caused damage to a vehicle while it as parked in the driveway. THEFT: Cassandra Combs of Washington CH reported a known juvenile removed property from her without permission. The property was recovered and the juvenile was charged in the incident. 12/6/17 TRAFFIC CRASH: 17 y/o juvenile was traveling south on SR 753 and traveled off the right side of the roadway. Juvenile struck a guide wire causing power lines to disconnect. No injuries were reported. 17 y/o juvenile was issued a citation for Failure to Control. TRAFFIC CRASH: Samuel Bowers of Greenfield OH was traveling southbound on US Rte 62 at Cook Yankeetown Rd. Bowers failed to stop with assured clear distance ahead and struck the vehicle in front of him. Both vehicle s sustained minor damage and Bowers was cited in the incident. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a disturbance on Allen Rd. In Octa. Deputies made contact with a male and female that was in a verbal argument that occurred with no threats or assault. LITTERING: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 5000 Block of Ghormley Rd in reference to a littering complaint. Reports indicate that an unknown person or person s dumped several bags or trash and clothing beside the roadway then departed. The investigation is ongoing. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 2000 Block of Snow Hill Rd in Union Township on a domestic dispute. Two females got into an argument without either party being assaulted or threatened. DRUG ABUSE: Sheriff s deputies responded to the 200 Block of Belle Street within Union Township on an overdose complaint. Narcan was utilized. The investigation is ongoing. 12/5/17 TRAFFIC CRASH: Lucy Ginther of Mason, OH was traveling south on IR 71. Ginther struck the rear of another vehicle traveling south operated by Scott Gray of Jeffersonville causing the vehicle to travel off the roadway. Both Ginther and Gray were transported to a medical facility for treatment. Ginther was issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead. DRUG ABUSE: Deputies responded to Washington New Martinsburg Rd on a report of an overdose. The patient was taken by the Fayette County EMS to the hospital for further evaluation. TRAFFIC CRASH: A two vehicle crash occurred on I71 at the 74 mile post. Lucy Ginther of Mason was transported to an area hospital. Scott Gray of Jeffersonville was transported to a hospital in Columbus. Ginther was issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead.

Tonya Soete was issued a summons for criminal damaging. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded US Route 62 South at the intersection of 35 East Access Rd for a 2 vehicle traffic crash. Reports indicate that Michelle Adkins of Sabina, Ohio entered the intersection during a red light which caused Emory Theiss of Gratis, Ohio to hit Adkins vehicle. No injuries were reported, Adkins was cited for failure to obey traffic control device. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Sheriff s deputies responded to N. North Street within Union Township in reference to a domestic. Two females got in to an argument with both parties being assaulted. TRESPASS: Michael Goldsberry of Sabina reported that a known female was on his property and was refusing to leave. The female left and Goldsberry declined charges. BURGLARY/THEFT: Jason Whited of Bloomingburg reported that an unknown person entered his residence and removed items. HIT SKIP TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to 1629 Old US Route 35 in reference to a Hit Skip traffic crash. Jimmie New of Fredericktown and Layne Harrison of Washington Court House were both transported by squad to a local hospital for treatment. New was issued a citation for a Stop Sign violation. 11/30/2017 TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Harrison Rd. near Myers Rd. Alexis Scott of London, Ohio was traveling southbound on Harrison Rd. when she failed to negotiate a left hand curve traveling off the right side of the roadway. The driver was cited for failure to control. TRAFFIC CRASH: Tony Bonham of Washington CH Ohio was traveling southbound on Good Hope New Holland Rd and struck a deer in the roadway. TRAFFIC CRASH: A three vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of St Rt 753 and Robinson Road. Kristal McCullah of Washington CH was unable to stop in time, striking the rear of a vehicle operated by David O Bryant of Hillsboro. O Bryant was then shoved into the rear of a vehicle operated by Dylan Crusie of Washington CH. O Bryant later sought treatment at Fayette County Memorial Hospital. McCullah was issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead. TRESPASS: Jay Debold of Washington CH reported that a known person entered his property without permission. ILLEGAL CONVEYANCE: A subject was located attempted to convey illegal narcotics into the Fayette County Jail. 11/29/2017: UNRULY: Sheriff s Deputies responded to Biddle Blvd in Bloomingburg on a complaint of an Unruly Juvenile. The child was counseled. THEFT: TJ Maxx reported an ongoing theft of items from the store that has been occurring since September. Alexa Anderson of Washington CH was issued a Summons for Theft. BURGLARY: Sheriff s deputies responded to Fishback Rd with in Perry Township in reference to a Burglary complaint. When the homeowner got up, he noticed a male subject standing in his living room. The investigation is ongoing.

14 TRAFFIC CRASH: Kirk Lookabaugh of Springfield reported he struck a deer while traveling on the US35 Bypass near the 5 Mile Post. BURGLARY/THEFT: Dorothy Campbell of Washington CH reported an unknown person entered her residence and removed several items. FIRE: Deputies along with the Washington CH Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1161 Jamison Rd. Washington CH Fire Department extinguished the fire and it was determined the residence to belong to a Brandi Baldridge. At the time of the report it is unknown the cause of the fire. THEFT: Norma Gray of Sabina Ohio reported meeting a person on Facebook from Texas and sending him money. It was determined to be a scam. Investigation Pending. PUBLIC INDECENCY: A Jeffersonville Ohio resident reported a male engaging in a sexual act. Investigation pending. 11/28/2017 TRAFFIC CRASH: Kaden Roberts of Washington C.H., Ohio reported hitting a deer on Harold Road at SR 729. CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Daxeshkumar Shah of Lewis Center Ohio was parked at the Hampton Inn on Allen Rd, Person(s) unknown cut the tires on his vehicle. CRIMINAL DAMAGING/DISCHARGE OF FIREARM NEAR PROHIBITED PREMISES: Marvin Curtis of SR 207 reported someone damaged a window after he found a bullet in a kitchen cabinet. SHOOTING: The Fayette County Sheriff s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday evening, November 28, 2017 on the parking lot of the Center Christian Church located near US #35 & I-71 in northwest Fayette County. The incident was reported shortly after 6:30 p.m. Upon receiving the call, the caller reported observing two vehicles on the church parking lot and two subjects outside the vehicles involved in a physical altercation. Shortly thereafter, the caller reported hearing what was believed to be the discharge of a firearm. Upon the arrival of Deputy Jordan Lovely, he located only one vehicle on the parking lot with an incoherent male inside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputy Lovely requested response from EMS and a medical helicopter while administering first aid to the victim pending the arrival of medical personnel. The suspect had left the area prior to the arrival of Deputy Lovely. Upon the arrival of Fayette County EMS and a medical helicopter, the victim was transported to an area trauma center for medical treatment. The victim s condition was not known at the time of the press release. Sheriff Stanforth, along with members of the command staff and detective bureau also responded to the scene and secured the perimeter while the investigation was conducted. A crime scene agent was requested from the Ohio Attorney General s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation & Identification (BCI&I) to assist sheriff s detectives with the investigation and collection of evidence. Members of the Jefferson Township Fire Department also responded to the scene to provide assistance to deputies and EMS members. The name of the victim is being withheld at this time as the investigation continues. Sheriff s detectives and state crime scene agents are working to establish a motive and to identify a suspect in the shooting. CORRUPTING ANOTHER WITH DRUGS/DRUG ABUSE/OVI/ENDANGERING CHILDREN: Sheriff s deputies conducted a traffic stop in Jeffersonville that ended with Tyler Bland being arrested and charged with OVI, Drug Abuse, Endangering Children, and Corrupting another with Drugs MISCELLANEOUS: Sheriff s deputies responded to Main Street in Jeffersonville in reference to an item that possibly was stolen. Aa male subject sold a laptop that he believes might be stolen. The item was taken and placed into property for safe keeping. The investigation is ongoing. TELEPHONE HARASSMENT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a complaint of telephone harassment being made by an unknown person. TRAFFIC CRASH: A single vehicle crash was reported after occurring on Ghormley Rd near St Rt 41. Jeffery Dunaway reported he lost control of the vehicle earlier in the day, ran off the roadway and into a ditch. The crash was reported later in the evening. Dunaway was issued a citation for Failure to Control. GRAND THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE: Sheriff s deputies responded to the Hampton Inn in reference to a stolen vehicle complaint. The male complainant advised he woke up this morning and noticed his vehicle was missing along with his keys. The investigation is ongoing. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a complaint of a Domestic Dispute on Lewis Rd. in Paint Township. Two family members got into a verbal argument with no threats or assault. TRAFFIC CRASH: A two vehicle traffic crash was reported on I71 near the 63 milepost. Celina Saksith age 19 of Columbus Ohio was slowed in traffic traveling southbound when a 2013 Chevy operated by Aaryn Gray age 22 of Indiana Pennsylvania failed to observe that it had slowed and struck the Honda in the rear causing damage to both vehicles. Gray was cited for ACDA. TRAFFIC CRASH: Deputies responded to a hit skip on Allen Rd near West Lancaster Rd. Jordan Browning age 24 of Jeffersonville Ohio reported she was traveling eastbound on Allen Rd in a 2016 Chrysler when a John Deere Tractor traveling westbound struck the side of her vehicle causing damage and failed to stop. 11/25/2017 ASSAULT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a reported assault at occurred at the Fayette County Jail. There was an altercation between 2 known inmates. The investigation is ongoing. THEFT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a reported theft that occurred on Robinson Rd. David Munyon reported person(s) unknown removed various items from his property without his permission. BURGLARY/THEFT/CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a Burglary complaint on Camp Grove Rd. John Boltenhouse advised while he was gone unknown person(s) forced entry into his residence and removed various items. DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Sheriff s deputies responded to Main Street in Jeffersonville in reference to a Disorderly Conduct complaint. Two females got into a fight causing minor injuries to each other. Neither female wanted charge filed. Both females were advised to stay away from each other.

Two family members got into a verbal argument that occurred with no threats or assault. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to the intersection of Colonial Drive at West High Street in Jeffersonville, Ohio for a 2 vehicle traffic crash. William Landenburg of Jeffersonville, Ohio was stopped at the intersection of Colonial Drive and West High Street when he was read ended by Clay Allen of Jeffersonville, Ohio. No injuries were reported. Allen was cited for ACDA. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to 513 Peddicord Ave for a single vehicle traffic crash. Michael Ward of Washington C.H., Ohio was traveling North on Peddicord Ave near 513 Peddicord Ave when Ward lost control of his vehicle. Ward traveled off the left side of the roadway over corrected went off the left side of the road striking 2 fences and a shed. No injuries were reported. Ward was cited for Failure to control. THEFT: Sheriff s deputies responded to Camp Grove Rd within Union Township in reference to a theft complaint. A known female came into her residence and stole items. The investigation is ongoing TRAFFIC CRASH: Samantha Fisher of Rocky River, Ohio was pulling into the parking lot at when she was struck by Todd Mitchell of Athens, Ohio who was pulling out of a parking space. THEFT/CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Deputies responded to the Tanger Outlet Mall reference damage to a vehicle. During investigation it was determined unknown person(s) broke the drivers rear window and removed several items from the vehicle. The incident is under investigation. TRAFFIC CRASH: Deputies responded to I71 at the 68 milepost to the report of a deer lying in the roadway in the southbound lane. Upon arrival the deer was located and a male subject was observed standing on the side of the highway on the northbound side. Upon investigation deputies discovered the male was operating a 2000 Acura Integra traveling southbound. The deer entered the lane of travel and the Acura struck the deer causing the airbags to deploy. The driver lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the left side of the roadway across the median and onto the northbound lanes of travel. The Acura continued across the northbound lanes into the grass where it began to slide sideways. The vehicle struck a fence and small tree causing the vehicle to overturn where it then came to a rest in a ditch. The driver identified as Joshua Gonzalez was transported to Jamestown ER and treated for injuries. Joshua Gonzalez was cited for no seatbelt THEFT: Sheriff s deputies responded to Tommy Hilfiger in reference to a theft complaint. A female left the business without paying for items. The juvenile suspect was located and charged with theft. THEFT: Deputies responded to the Lions Den 9021 West Lancaster Rd. Jeffersonville Ohio to the report of a theft of merchandise TRAFFIC CRASH: Charles Ridenour of Greenfield OH was traveling northbound on State Route 753 just north of Good Hope when he attempted to negotiate a curve and lost control. He traveled off the right side of the roadway entering the ditch, then striking a fence. Ridenour was issued a citation for failure to control. No injuries were reported.
