Market Street Washington C.H., Ohio (740) JULY NEWS Last updated 07/17/ TRAFFIC CRASH/OVI: Sheriff s Deputies located a tractor trailer that ran off the roadway and stuck a mailbox on Prairie Rd. within Union township. Neil Troyer of Charleston, IL was found to be under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest for OVI and failure to control and transported to the Fayette County Jail. DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a disturbance in the area of State Route 753 in Union township. Bobby Bushey of Washington C.H. was intoxicated and involved in a verbal altercation. Bushey was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Fayette County Jail CRIMINAL TRESPASS/THEFT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to Milledgeville, Ohio in reference to a Criminal trespassing and theft complaint. Unknown person(s) came on to the property off John Hider and stole property. BURGLARY/THEFT: Sheriff Deputies responded to a Burglary and theft complaint on Inskeep Rd in Jefferson Township. Unknown person(s) forced entry in to a residence and stole property. BURGLARY/THEFT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a Burglary and Theft complaint on Parrott Station Rd in Jefferson Township. Unknown person(s) entered a residence and vehicles and stole property. BURGLARY/THEFT: Sheriff s Deputies responded to a Burglary and Theft complaint on Palmer Rd in Jasper Township. Unknown person(s) entered a shed on the property as well as vehicles and stole property. STORM DAMAGE: Sheriff s deputies responded to Bloomingburg New Holland Rd in Marion Township reference storm damage. Reports indicate that a female noticed damage to her barn that was caused by the storm CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Sheriff s deputies responded to SR 41 at the stone quarry on reports of several males trespassing. Deputies made contact with the male subjects. prosecution was declined.

2 TELEPHONE HARASSMENT: Cathy Klein Connors of Jeffersonville reported she had received several unwanted telephone calls and text messages from a known person. Connors was referred to the Village Solicitor. THEFT: James Cooper of Jeffersonville reports person(s) unknown removed prescription medication from his residence. TRAFFIC CRASH: Christopher Beverly of Greenfield, OH was traveling west on Greenfield Sabina Rd and lost control of his vehicle. Beverly traveled off the right side of the roadway striking tree in the yard of 2625 Greenfield Sabina Rd. No injuries were reported. Beverly was issued a citation for Failure to Control and Driving Under Suspension. TRAFFIC CRASH: Andrea Closterman of Vandalia, OH was traveling west on US 35 and struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported TRAFFIC CRASH: Jeffrey Jenkins of Washington CH reported he struck a deer on U S rte 62 North near Bloomingburg-New Holland Road. TRAFFIC CRASH: A one-car motor vehicle crash was reported near 1771 Old Chillicothe Road. Andril A. Chyrva of Brooklyn, New York was cited for Failure to Control. TRAFFIC CRASH: A two-car motor vehicle crash was reported on the lot of the Jeff Pool. Desirree Reno of Washington CH struck a parked car while leaving the pool. POSSESSION OF DRUGS;ILLEGAL CONVEYANCE OF DRUGS; TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE: Zachary D. Milstead of Bloomingburg was charged additionally after Conveying Illegal Narcotics inside the Fayette County Jail. TRAFFIC CRASH: A one-car motor vehicle crash was reported near 1812 S R 734. Asimue Samuel Balijahe of Aulrora, Colorado was cited for Failure to Control TRAFFIC CRASH: Donte D. Arter of Columbus was traveling southbound on I-71 near mile post #75 when Arter s vehicle blew a tire causing the vehicle to travel off the roadway. THEFT: Harriet Penwell of Washington CH Ohio reported person(s) unknown removed property belonging to her from the bathroom at the Flying J. THEFT: Erika Wilson of Bloomingburg reports person(s) unknown entered her residence and removed several items. MENACING: Richard T. Seeds of Washington CH reported he was verbally threatened by a known person. Prosecution was declined at the time of the report CRIMINAL SIMULATION: An employee of Flagway #1 reported a known person had passed fraudulent money. MENACING: Patricia Coil of Washington CH reports receiving threats from a known subject.

3 THEFT: Sunglass Hut reported two unknown males entered the business obtained merchandise and departed without making payment. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to a vehicle crash on SR 435 near Old US RTE 35 within Jefferson Township. Reports indicate that Cheryl Murphy of Menasha, WI was traveling Westbound on SR 435 when a construction sign blew in front of her vehicle. Murphy struck the sign causing little damage to her vehicle. No injuries were reported. CRIMINAL SIMULATION: An employee of Flagway #1 reported a known person passed fraudulent money. CRIMINAL DAMAGING: A member of the Bloomingburg Presbyterian Church reported sometime overnight persons unknown damaged a window to the church CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Sheriff s Deputies responded to the area of Forest St. on reports of unknown person(s) throwing dog feces on his vehicle. DRUGS: The Fayette County Sheriff s Office responded to Jamison Rd trailer park on a complaint of suspected drugs and paraphernalia. The complaint involved a vehicle that had been borrowed and upon return the items located. The items were seized and secured in evidence. The incident is under investigation. TRAFFIC CRASH: A one-car motor vehicle crash was reported near S R 435. Harold Dowden of Circleville was cited for Driving on Closed Road. DISORDERLY CONDUCT BY INTOXICATION: Sheriff s deputies responded to Flagway US 22 on an intoxicated male. Deputies made contact with the male at which time was found to be intoxicated. Ricky Marsee Jr was arrested and charged in the matter TRAFFIC CRASH: Deputies responded to St Rt 435 near Allen Rd to a 2 vehicle crash. Upon investigation it was determined that Jillian Brooks of Jamestown Ohio had to stop for traffic slowing ahead of her and struck the rear of a vehicle operated by Joshua Stevens. Brooks was cited for Assured Clear Distance Ahead. TRAFFIC CRASH: A tractor operated by Eric Frontzcak was backing into a parking space and failed to observe a legally parked truck. Frontzcak was cited for improper/unsafe backing. THEFT: The Fayette County Sheriff s Office received a theft complaint from Gap Outlet located at 8865 Factory Shops Blvd. Upon arrival it was determined a male and female entered the store then left with items concealed in their clothing. The incident is under investigation. TRAFFIC CRASH: A one-car motor vehicle crash was reported on U S rte 35 West near mile post #9. Antwa-Demalyia Hughes of St. Paul, Minnesota was cited for Failure to Control. TELEPHONE HARRASSMENT: Justin Stegall of Jeffersonville reported person(s) unknown created a fake Facebook account using his name and he is now receiving unwanted messages to his real account.

4 TRAFFIC CRASH: Diana Ringer of Xenia, OH was traveling west on Carr Rd. Ringer made a left turn onto SR 41 traveling thru a red traffic signal. Ringers vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling north on SR 41 operated by Lina Ruschau of Cincinnati. OH. Ruschau was transported to a medical facility for treatment. Ringer was issued a citation for Failing to obey a traffic control device. AGGRAVATED MENACING: Sheriff s deputies responded to the Sunoco Gas station on STR 38 within Paint township. Reports indicate that a male and female were traveling Southbound on Interstate 71 when they got in to an argument. The female stated that the male subject did make threats to her, but the female declined to per sue charges. DRUG ABUSE: Sheriff s deputies responded to State Street in Jeffersonville in reference to an Overdose. Reports indicate that contact was made with a male subject in the ally who was having a hard time talking and wasn t making any sense. Ems Personal arrived and scene and gave the male subject Naloxon which appeared to help. The male was then transported to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment THEFT: Jess Weade of Washington CH reported known subject removed the license plate from his vehicle without consent. TRAFFIC CRASH: Phillip Swing of Shelbyville, TN was traveling on the lot of Travel Centers of America. Swing made a right turn on the lot striking a parked semi. No injuries were reported. THEFT: Jacqueline Williams of Jeffersonville reported person(s) unknown used her debit card numbers to make unauthorized purchases. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Mary L. Strouse of Bloomingburg reported she was verbally threatened by a family member. Bobby L. Grubb of Bloomingburg was arrested in the offense. AGGRAVATED BURGLARY; AGGRAVATED MENACING: Julian M. Everhart of Jeffersonville reported a known person entered her residence, and threatened her family. Prosecution was declined at the time of the report. TRAFFIC CRASH: Alexander Gordon of Washington CH Ohio was traveling southbound on St Rte 38 and traveled left of the centerline. Gordon continued to travel off the road left and into a bean field. Gordon struck a concrete post in the ditch causing the vehicle to turn onto its side. Gordon was transported to the hospital for further evaluation and was cited in the incident. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff Deputies responded to Harrison Rd in Madison Township reference a hit skip accident. Reports indicate an unknown vehicle was traveling Westbound on Harrison Rd near 8799 Harrison Rd, when the vehicle lost control. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway striking a mailbox and fence before leaving the scene. Investigation continues. TRAFFIC CRASH: Sheriff s deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Harrison Rd near Rockwell Rd in Paint Township reference a single vehicle crash. Sarah Lakodur of Dublin, Ohio was traveling Westbound on Harrison Rd when she failed to negotiate a curve. Lakodur ran off the right side of the roadway in to the ditch over corrected back on to the roadway going in to the ditch on the left side of the road. Lakodur s vehicle then over turned and began to roll several times back across the roadway coming to rest on the right side of the road. Lakodur was cited for failure to control.

5 TRAFFIC CRASH: A two-car motor vehicle crash was reported on S R 41 North near Leslie Trace. Mercede L. McCown of Washington CH was cited for Assured Clear Distance Ahead. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Tara Luckett of Jeffersonville reported she was assaulted by a household member. Robert H. Glispie Jr. of Jeffersonville was charged with Domestic Violence. DRUG ABUSE: Deputies and the Fayette County EMS responded to St Rte 753 at Robinson Rd for a possible overdose. The patient was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital for further evaluation. MISUSE OF CREDIT CARD: Tara Luckett of Jeffersonville Ohio reported a known female made purchases with her credit card without authorization. Luckett declined to pursue criminal charges. PROTECTION ORDER SERVICE: Sheriff s deputies made contact with a respondent serving a protection order. The subject was advised of the guidelines of the order and the consequences of any violations. BREAKING AND ENTERING/ THEFT: Employee s from the I-71 rest area reported person(s) unknown gained entry to a storage shed and removed property. Investigation pending. TELEPHONE HARASSMENT: Justin T. Stegall of Jeffersonville reported he was being harassed by a known person TRAFFIC CRASH: A two-car motor vehicle crash was reported on U S rte 35 near S R 41 South.The driver of the at fault vehicle fled the area, and remains unknown. ASSAULT: Megan Defisher of Washington CH reported she was assaulted by a known person. Prosecution was declined at the time of the report. DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Two family members were involved in a verbal dispute. TRAFFIC CRASH: Christopher Gray of Jeffersonville was backing his vehicle on the lot of Family Dollar. Gray failed to observe another vehicle on the lot striking the side of the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Gray was issued a citation for Improper backing. FOUND PROPERTY: Sheriff s deputy made contact at Tanger Outlets on a found property complaint. Deputy recovered cash money located at the outlet mall. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Teresa Payne of Milledgeville reported during an argument with a family member she was assaulted. Timothy Boysel of Milledgeville was arrested and charged in the matter. TRAFFIC CRASH: Rebecca Guo of San Antonio, TX was traveling south on IR 71 and lost control of her vehicle due to hydroplaning on wet roadways. Guo struck the rear of another vehicle traveling south. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles suffered minor damage in the crash

6 DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Sheriff s deputies responded to W. Front St, New Holland on a domestic incident. Upon arrival all parties involved were identified and it was determined that no assault or threats of violence had occurred. TRAFFIC CRASH: Jesses Bookout of El Paso, TX was traveling west on SR 435. Bookout realized he was traveling in the wrong lane of travel and began backing his semi in the roadway. Bookout struck the front of another semi. No injuries were reported. Bookout was issued a citation for Improper Backing. CRIMINAL DAMAGING: William Rodgers of Jeffersonville reported sometime overnight persons unknown damaged his mailbox. THEFT: Joyce Lutz of Jeffersonville, Ohio reported she bought a gift card from a known person and when she used the gift card she found it did not have as much money on it as she thought. She was referred to the solicitor TRAFFIC CRASH: A 17 y/o juvenile was traveling north on SR 38 and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a guardrail. No injuries were reported. Citation was issued for Failure to Control ASSAULT: Sheriff s deputies responded to an assault at the McDonalds on State Route 435. Reports indicate that a male and female were on the McDonalds lot but that no one was assaulted or threatened. ASSAULT/ AGGRAVATED MENACING: Deputies responded to a report of an assault that occurred on State Route 41 in Union Twp. Thomas Kipp reported he was assaulted by a known female. Contact was made with the female. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Sheriff s Deputies responded to W. High St. in the Village of Jeffersonville for a domestic violence complaint. Reports indicate a male and female got into a physical altercation. Shauna Finley was taken into custody for domestic violence.
