13 Flood Relief NTECL helped e flood affected people of nearby v i l l a g e s o f K o n d a k a r a i, K u r u v i m e d u, Gounderpalayam, Attipattu Pudunagar, Vallur and Pattamandiri due to heavy rainfall by providing food for 6500 people from 16 to 19 November, bags of rice were given to Kuruvimedu and Gounderpalayam village people. NTECL also provided clean drinking water to Vallur and Pattamandiri villages for 7 days when eir water source got affected. Vindhyachal towards Energy Conservation NTPC Vindhyachal has installed 145 nos special street lights each powered by independent solar panels generating around 2.1 kwatt of solar power emitted rough LED bulbs around a distance of 1 km wiin e plant premises.
