The new ATC Tower was inaugurated by Hon ble CM of Maharashtra, Shri Prithviraj Chavan and Hon ble Union Aviation Minister, Shri Ajit Singh in the presence of Executive Chairman, MIAL - Dr. GVK Reddy, Managing Director, MIAL - Mr. Sanjay Reddy, Director, GVKPIL - Mr Krishna Ram Bhupal and other senior functionaries from State Government and our associates. The tallest ATC tower in India stands at 83.8 metre, equivalent to a 30 storied building. The positioning of the tower offers free, clear sight lines of both runways and approach path. It boasts of a dynamic wishbone shaped support for strength and aesthetic appeal. The strong glasses can withstand powerful winds and provide visibility upto 5 miles. Ltd. has crossed another milestone with the signing up of an Owner s Engineer (OE) agreement for the project with Lahmeyer International (India). LII shall be responsible for reviewing all the engineering drawings and documents to be submitted by civil & HM contractor and Electro-Mechanical contractor till the time the drawings are approved as Good For Construction (GFC). GVK BIA on a winning spree Dr. Devasia KJ, AGM Business, continuity and management, GVK BIA, has been awarded the state meritorious award for outstanding contribution to Civil Defence and Disaster Management in Karnataka. With this, the country s largest emergency service provider would be catering to 14 states and two UTs. GVK EMRI s efficient response mechanism will definitely help the state to handle emergencies better. EM Care Awards, Dehradun The GVK EMRI 108 team organized the EM Care Awards at 108 Dehradun office to felicitate the ambulance team for the best case handled. Top cases from each district were nominated and the best case amongst them was bestowed with the 108 Savior Award. The awards were presented to the winners by the State Head & Team of GVK EMRI 108 Uttarakhand. With around 60 participants, the programme aimed to enhance the responsiveness of the home guards in case of any emergency in the state.
