This shelter home is in need of dry goods or in cans, floor cleaning supplies, kitchen soaps, and items of personal hygiene, like tooth brushes, tooth paste, disposable shavers, combs, soap bars, etc Bring your donations to the parish office. 3 Save the Date! Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School will be having a Christmas Bazaar on Sunday December 7 open to the parish community at the auditorium. We will be renting tables for $50.00 for anyone that wants to sell crafts, home made goodies, decorations, jewelry, etc. Mark your calendar. The prevalence of abuse in society In surveys of adults, one out of five women and one out of 10 men reported that they were sexually molested before they were 18 years old. This means that an estimated 40 million adult survivors of child sexual abuse are living in the United States today. An estimated 9.6 percent of all school children will be molested by an educator or an employee of a school between kindergarten and 12th grade. Between 13 and 34 percent of all females will be victims of sexual assault before the age of 18 and 7 to 16 percent of all males will also be victimized before they are 18. For particular help you may call Suzanne Healy, Director of Assistance Ministry, at RCIA The RCIA PROGRAM is a process where children of 6 years or older who haven t received the Sacrament of Baptism or are baptized in a Non-Roman Catholic Church are given a special preparation in order to receive the Initiation Sacraments: Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. The preparation last 2 years. Registrations have already started, please bring the birth certificate of your child and if they were baptized in a non-roman Catholic Church, bring the baptism certificate. Never the less, there are many people, who come just as the Mass is about to start and ask the celebrant to mention their personal intention for that Mass. This is not the proper approach to the case. People wishing to request a Mass intention, should come personally to the parish office at least 3-weeks or 1-Month ahead of their intended date, so that the intention be duly registered in the parish Mass Book and included in the parish Bulletin. The monthly pledge billings for the Together in Mission pledges have been mailed. It is very important that these pledges be paid so that our parish will reach and, hopefully, exceed our goal. Once the pledge payments have exceeded our goal, we receive all of the additional funds for use in our parish ministries. La Congregación Misioneros de San Carlos Scalabrinianos fue fundada en 1887, por el Beato Juan Bautista Scalabrini, destinada a ayudar a los inmigrantes y refugiados. Presentes en 30 países del mundo, los Misioneros de San Carlos Sclabrinianos, hacen una labor en beneficio de aquellas personas que por diversas circunstancias se ven obligadas a dejar sus hogares y buscar una mejor fuente de sostén para sus familias. La atención pastoral es en casas del migrante, centros de atención para los derechos humanos, parroquias multiculturales y medios de comunicación. NO ESTAS SOLA! No estas sola es un grupo de apoyo que ofrece la parroquia para todas las mujeres de cualquier religión y en cualquier situación que se encuentren. Este grupo es para compartir, escuchar, reflexionar, orar y para obtener cualquier información que necesites.
