2018 SPRING BREAK CAMP FEES $10 mandatory annual registration fee, this cannot be waived CITY RESIDENTS $60 for the one week session, 1st child camp fee, second / additional child $54.

If a parent qualifies for a fee reduction then all children from that parent s household are enrolled under that reduced rate.

4 PARKS & RECREATION CITY OF MIAMI PARKS & RECREATION camp March 26th - 30th Play, learn, and stay active at a Spring Break Camp offered to children ages 6 thru 13 at one of the City of Miami Parks listed below. Camp hours are from 9am to 5pm, drop off as early as 8am. Parents are encouraged to register early; space is limited at each park SPRING BREAK CAMP FEES $10 mandatory annual registration fee, this cannot be waived CITY RESIDENTS $60 for the one week session, 1st child camp fee, second / additional child $54. NON CITY RESIDENT $70 for the one week session. DISCOUNT ON CAMP FEES Available discounts and fee reductions are only applicable to City of Miami Residents. If a parent qualifies for a fee reduction then all children from that parent s household are enrolled under that reduced rate. TO APPLY FOR A FEE REDUCTION For those who feel that they cannot afford the spring camp fees, you may apply for our Fee Reduction Program. Reduction in fees will be based on need and will be for 75%, 50%, 25% or full scholarship of the camp fee. Only City of Miami residents can apply for a reduced rate. Event capacity is 800 people.

Appoint a designated watcher to monitor children during social gatherings at or near pools. Post CPR instructions and learn the procedures. Equip doors and windows that exit to a pool area with alarms. Install a poolside phone, preferably a cordless model, with emergency numbers programmed into speed-dial. Keep rescue equipment poolside. Don t wait for the paramedics to arrive because you will lose valuable life-saving seconds. Four to six minutes without oxygen can cause permanent brain damage or death. Keep a first aid kit poolside
