AmCham has been and continues to be the premier Chamber of Commerce partner of the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador to promote bilateral trade and investment, and has been a key partner in promoting prosperity and creating better conditions in El Salvador.

AmCham has been and continues to be the premier Chamber of Commerce partner of the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador to promote bilateral trade and investment, and has been a key partner in promoting prosperity and creating better conditions in El Salvador. The companies that belong to AmCham already provide thousands of jobs and millions of dollars in direct investment in El Salvador, but are also developing future business leaders in key sectors, such as software development and services, value-added manufacturing, and renewable energy. AmCham s 45th anniversary comes at a critical moment in El Salvador s history, where there is great potential for the new administration to make serious improvements in the business and investment climate and unlock El Salvador s potential for economic growth and increased job creation. The progress El Salvador has made so far in improving security depends on this one component, and many AmCham companies are models of high ethical standards, adhere to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act the most widely enforced anticorruption law in the world, and provide remarkable service to their employees and communities. In other words, AmCham provides reliable, transparent and trustworthy partners, many of whom support a larger mission of moving the country forward.
