3 About Snowie Snowie is a well-established global trademark company which started in America and now has 25 years in the shaved ice industry. Snowie pushes the envelope in producing the finest, fluffiest shaved ice at speeds impossible with any other system. The Snowie system also boasts a wonderful assortment of mouth watering flavours but the Snowie commitment goes beyond the taste. The Shaved Ice flavours are economical and easy to use. Snowie has 100 different flavours and Snowie branded cups for the exclusive use of the Snowie licence. licencee requirements The Snowie licencee is responsible to make sure council requirements are met in all regards including the issuing of a standard health licence for the territory. Any fees or expenses incurred when applying for a licence/or event is at the licencee s expense. events Licencees are trained and assisted to get events such as school fairs, gala days and the like within their territory. We also get enquireies at head office from all over New Zealand. Pending the establishment of licencee in all areas these are allocated to the existing licencees on a pro rata basis. For example an average School gala, November 2007, licencee sold 550 cups of shaved ice in 4 hours. expectations Upon taking on a Snowie licence it is expected that the licencee introduces at least 4 shaved ice machines into their territory over the licencee period. The licencee have a reputable vehicle (preferred white in colour) and the affix Snowie s logos. Uniforms to be worn and kept clean and tidy at all times representing the Snowie brand 4

Any additional advertising is at the cost of licencee and must be approved, designed and ordered through Snowie NZ s head office. 4. At this point it would be a good idea to contact your accountant to discuss this opportunity to see if this suits your lifestyle. Sign your license agreement. Come to Auckland for a couple of days (own expense) for training at Head Office. We will be available for any queries or problems encountered enroute to getting your business up and running. 7
