2 ABOUT US Jubilee Park is an integral part of our community identity and a key factor in ensuring Woodhall Spa and its businesses thrive when so many other villages and towns are struggling. We are a vital hub for sport, fitness, leisure and special events for a wide area and enjoy a county wide reputation. Jubilee Park is community owned and run with no public funding. A charity, we are committed to continually improving all our facilities and developing the park from our income. There are many ways a business may choose to support us- please take a few minutes to check the list on page 3. In return we are offering more ways than ever to promote your business and encourage visitors and residents to support those who support us. For the last two seasons the support of local businesses has been vital to our success. In 2017 the pool will be open for 6 extra weeks, from Good Friday, 14 th April, to 1 st October. 4 ROYAL JUBILEE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THE CONCEPT: Each business, offers a product or service- an item on a menu, for example- from which a donation is automatically made to Jubilee Park. Royal. This can either be at the end of the season, in the form of a donation into a collecting box as you go along or some other agreed way. Each business decides how much to give from each item. All we ask is that to qualify for Royal Jubilee support, the offers are available on a regular basis from at least May to October- hopefully up to Christmas. If you wish to do something all year round- that would be amazing! We leave it to your imagination as to what to offer EXAMPLES of products and services that generated an automatic donation in 2016: Sunglasses at Opticks Cut & blow dry at The Hair Lounge Special Strawberries and Cream Ice Cream from Sweet Memories- a flavour created for the park by Dennets Woodhall Spa cushions designed and sold at Vintique Unclaimed items sold at Woodhall Spa Dry Cleaners Others included wedding dresses at the Ivory Room, Bowling shoes at Peter Scott and special waffles at Jubilee Park Cafe... IN RETURN: We supply point of sale publicity, feature your business on our website- with links to yours, if you have one- and other publicity- see page 6 PAYMENT: You decide how you wish to pay- cash once a month, BACS into our account (see end of this pack, cash into a collection box as you go along, end of season cheque- as long as it s money, we don t care how it comes. If you d like us to call and pick it up, we will. Remember, charitable donations can be offset against tax and we are now registered for Gift Aid. Page 4

Business sponsors are acknowledged on the website with details of their business, any images supplied and links to their website and listed on promotional flyers distributed at major events PARK AND GARDENS- Contact Julie Pole New sunken sensory garden and water feature project, sponsors permanently listed on a board on site- total cost 10, flower beds- maintenance- 250 a season Picnic benches 450 each we need 6 New park seats, for a bronze plaque and 50 installation SWIMMING POOL-contact Joe Stanhope Lifeguard training- 1,000 per season Sun lounger each we need 10 Various items of plant, some already reconditioned, will need replacing over the next two or three seasons at costs ranging from 500-6,000 an item CARAVAN AND CAMPING FACILITY-contact Joe Stanhope pitch with plaque 400 Sponsor a caravan hardstanding/ motorhome END OF SEASON BARN DANCE-contact Julie Pole This way we get to keep all ticket money, income from the raffles and other donations on the night. Band 800, Bar- units of 100, Tickets 25. Sponsors promoted on all the tables. MARKETING & EVENTS contact Amarylis Midgley Advertising in local and regional press 200 per advert with sponsor recognition 1940s event bar Barrel of beer or cider 85, straw bales 100, Pimms 500, soft drinks 100- sponsors promoted on tables and around the bar Contribution to park leaflets for following season with printed acknowledgment: 250 per sponsor. Distribution 50,000 nationwide PLAY AREA APPEAL contact Joe Stanhope We are trying to raise 40,000 to replace and update equipment in our popular children s play park. Business support has been crucial in getting us off to a good start so we can apply for some grant aid, but we still need your help.
