2 The Ospitalità Italiana seal is a certification, awarded by Italy s National Institute of Tourism, that officially recognizes Italian restaurants around the world for their commitment to authenticity in Italian cuisine. Through their use of DOP and IGP products from Italy, as well as through their commitment to providing diners with an authentic experience, these restaurants function as ambassadors, preserving the integrity and authenticity of Italy s culinary heritage. WHAT IS OSPITALITÀ ITALIANA? Ospitalità Italiana: The Authentic Italian Table is an annual restaurant showcase event celebrating authentic Italian cuisine. It is a prime platform for high-end Italian restaurants, food, wine and liquor brands to share their products with discerning, affluent, New York Citybased epicureans and lovers of all things Italian.

3 Founded in New York in 1887, the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce ( is a private, not-for-profit, membership organization that brings together businesses ranging from individual entrepreneurs to large corporations and advances the interests of its members through contacts and interaction with Italian government agencies, trade associations and leading international organizations. ABOUT THE ITALY-AMERICA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE In collaboration with Italy s National Institute of Tourism, the IACC launched the Ospitalità Italiana restaurant certification project and held its inaugural Authentic Italian Table restaurant showcase in Since its inception, the initiative has certified over 200 restaurants in the New York-metro area. The IACC is also an official partner of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development in its Extraordinary Italian Taste campaign, designed to raise awareness of authentic Italian food products and to educate consumers about the important connection between these authentic Italian ingredients and the specific geographic areas in which they are produced.

4 Exclusive showcase for authentic Italian restaurants, specialty food products, wines and spirits Attendees sample authentic Italian tasting menus prepared by participating OI-certified restaurants and products from top-tier Italian food and beverage brands. Attended by 500-1,000 food and wine enthusiasts, Italophiles, members of the food and hospitality trades and food/wine writers, bloggers and influencers. Event has global reach; receives media coverage in Italy and abroad through our international network of Italian chambers.
