Sports Facility Bell Sensplex Sports Facility Nepean National Equestrian Park The Bell Sensplex is a $25.6M facility provides residents and organized sports teams with year-round access to facilities in the west end. The Bell Sensplex houses one Olympic-sized international ice surface with seating for 750 fans, as well as three official NHL-sized rinks that each seat 250 fans. The facility is also home to an indoor soccer/sports field that is suitable for a wide range of sports including soccer, football, rugby, lacrosse, Ultimate, cricket, and more. The Nepean National Equestrian Park is a 270 acre riding school specializing in introductory riding lessons.the Park is used as a boarding facility and as a world class special event site for local, National and International calibre events (Capital Classic Show Jumping Tournament). Sports Facility Britannia Yacht Club The Britannia Yacht Club provides access to 45 kilometres of sailing waters on the Ottawa River. With close to 1,200 members the well-protected harbour accommodates 280 keelboats, and dry sail facilities are provided for dinghy sailors. BYC also offers active tennis, youth and social programs. The banquet facilities are used for weddings, banquets, and business meetings, and is available to rent by the public.the upper deck can accommodate up to 200 people for dinner, dancing or conferences and seminars.

5 Sports Facility Nepean Sailing Club In addition to member activities, the Nepean Sailing Club offers services to the public, including: Youth Sailing School (about 300 students annually); Able Sail program (for sailors with disabilities); Adult Sail training program; Racing and race training program for women; Home to local Sea Cadets; Special events such as Easter Seals Regatta, Mobility Cup Regatta. The main building on the site is a two-storey 7,000 sq.ft. Clubhouse which was completed in The East Room is a 1,200 sq.ft. room with a capacity of 145 persons. The facility is rented for meetings, workshops, mini trade shows, or social events (weddings, parties, etc.). The NSC includes permanent docks within the harbour area (a total of 500 slips), as well as a boat storage area occupying approximately 1.8 ha situated on the eastern portion of the NSC site. Sports Facility Ottawa Rowing Club The Ottawa Rowing Club has close to 1,000 members. The club offers programs for junior, senior, adaptive and masters athletes, university and high school rowers, recreational rowers of all skills levels, an adult rowing league, a popular learn-to-row program and a summer youth day camp for young people interesting in rowing as beginners or at a more advanced level. In addition to the main boathouse which the club operates but is owned by the City of Ottawa, the ORC also maintains the original clubhouse as an Interpretive Cetre and museum that chronicles the history of the club. It was rebuilt as a Millennium project and is rented by the public regularly throughout the summer for weddings, banquets and other corporate events and special occasions. The club opens in early April every spring (depending on the weather and the run-off on the Ottawa Rover) and closes in early Novmeber for the winter. The Ottawa Rowing Club Boat House Banquet facility (1,600 sq.ft.) is used for organizing full catering services for groups of up to 100 seated or up to 125 standing. With 2,323 seats, used for a variety of performances and events, including Broadway musicals, ballet, opera, musical acts, lectures, ceremonies, films, orchestral music and virtually any other entertainment or corporate events. Southam Hall has four levels of seating and each level has its own set of Boxes. Entertainment Facility Rideau Carleton Raceway Rideau Carleton Raceway is a dual racing and gaming entertainment destination. Since slot machines were added to its completely renovated facility in 2000, millions of visitors have been attracted to Rideau Carleton Raceway. The 650 seat dining room overlooks Canada's fastest 5/8th mile track.
