3 Overview Ivory s Rock is a spectacular function, outdoor convention and event facility for 10 to 5,000 people, in 600 hectares of private parklands and natural forested conservation areas. Not just one venue, it is a village of venues which can be used individually or combined to suit a variety of needs, with plenty of space to move. Choose from three elegant meeting and function venues, a 5,000-seat outdoor amphitheatre, outdoor convention and exhibition facilities, and accommodation from retreat-style cabins to landscaped campgrounds. Location Strategically located less than one hour from Brisbane CBD, one hour from Brisbane International Airport, 90 minutes from the Gold Coast, and 20 minutes from Ipswich. Outdoor conventions and jamborees Take your convention outdoors but with all the modern and extensive facilities you need for large numbers of delegates. The 5,000 seat outdoor shaded amphitheatre combines with the outdoor open style Pavilion including catering facilities, organiser offices, display and exhibition facilities to provide a unique convention venue. The outdoor facilities can be combined with the meeting and function rooms for workshops, indoor activities and dining options. The Pavilion provides a village of shops and outdoor café areas around a central all-weather dome, a 3

Landscaped campgrounds provide accommodation for 3,000+ with modern bathroom facilities, options for fully-equipped and powered safari-tents, and motorhomes by arrangement. Caravan and RV club conventions welcome. Tradeshows, exhibitions and field days Ivory s Rock is strategically located close to Brisbane and Ipswich and in the heart of South-East Queensland country. With extensive support facilities complemented by a stunning natural backdrop, Ivory s Rock is a unique venue for outdoor events. The generous landscaped outdoor spaces, permanent bathroom amenities, Pavilion convention area, Amphitheatre and meeting and function rooms offer numerous combinations that event organisers can choose from to design their event. There is easy access to the Pavilion area for exhibition and trade show vehicles and display equipment, including the dome undercover display or entertainment space. Car parking for more than 1,000 cars is available onsite with front gate reception facilities available for large events. Coach transport can be arranged, and IR is 20 minutes from Ipswich railway station. Special events, concerts and festivals The Amphitheatre has tiered seating suitable for theatre or dining style. Set against the backdrop of Ivory s Rock it provides an outdoor shaded venue complemented by full stage, backstage, production and translation facilities. Bathrooms are easily accessible and designed for to cope with full capacity events with ease. The Amphitheatre is accessible by coach. Concerts can also be held in the Pavilion or in a natural parkland area to suit requirements. A helipad is available for helicopter landings. 4

5 The Conference Centre Located adjacent to bushland in a parklike setting, The Ivory s Rock Conference Centre is superbly appointed. It offers the facilities of a modern 5-star hotel CBD conference centre located in a tranquil and beautiful setting. The sound of the wind in the tree and birdsong add to the lustre of the gorgeous setting. Able to facilitate training seminars (with or without catering), performance arts such as stage shows, musical performance or film it can also be quickly turned to a full dinner setting. It holds up to 360 people theatre style. Fully covered verandas offer breakout opportunities along with the manicured lawn and garden areas. In the evenings these verandas offer a relaxing expansion for cocktail parties and social events. 6 The Casuarina Restaurant & Function Centre The Casuarina Restaurant and Function Centre provides the exciting opportunity to offer a memorable dining experience to complement other activities you are planning. The venue is located in shady bushland surrounded by manicured gardens. There is a delightful entrance and reception area serviced by a fully equipped bar and club lounge where guests can be welcomed and socialise prior to their event. The venue has five separate dining rooms. Three of these can be opened and combined as one room to accommodate up to 150 people theatre style for presentations and seminar activity. Additional breakout rooms are available. The Casuarina Function Centre has a fully operational commercial kitchen suitable for providing elegant high quality dining for your guests, an outstanding and unforgettable dining experience. 7 The Jacaranda Cafe and Camping Ground The Jacaranda Cafe is located in the northern corner of the site. It is a simple well-appointed structure with wide Queensland verandas suitable for evening meals and quiet breakfasts. Guests can enjoy listening to kookaburras and magpies greeting the day. The venue is also serviced by a fully functional commercial kitchen. With an air conditioned interior and veranda seating the cafe can service up to 56 guests. There is adjacent parking and wide lawns for the erection of extra marquees if required. A fully serviced campground is attached to this venue and modern bathroom facilities available for patrons. For group bookings large fully serviced tents can be provided upon request with beds, bedding, towels and linen. It is a quiet and private location suitable for smaller conferences, trainings, meetings and functions. Audio visual packages are available for hire on request. 8 The Pavillion A permanent structure, the Pavilion provides a central meeting point for the venue capable of providing full catering, shops for concessions, giftware, promotional activity and table seating for up to 3000 people. The large central dome provides over 600 metres in coverage. It can be used as a recreational area for guests being served food and beverage at café style tables or is suitable for a central stage and art performances music, speakers, comedy, drama, etc. There are 29 shops servicing the Pavilion placed in a horse shoe arc around the central dome. Each shop has a floor space of 36 square metres and a rear service and delivery area. All shops have full power and water. Generally the shops are used as cafes, bars, concession stands and information booths. The paved and landscaped area in front of the shops offers areas for cafes, bar and restaurant patrons to enjoy an outdoor bush setting in relative comfort and safety. The Pavilion offers a range of usage. With large onsite camping conferences it offers a central village style location to meet, socialise and enjoy performances. It is also suitable for Field Days and Expos, with a capacity to expand display areas outward from the Pavilion for machinery displays and marquees. The Pavilion provides an excellent location as a secondary sound stage for multi-level activity. There is accessible parking and the shade sails surrounding the central dome make the venue usable 12 months of the year. The area has full lighting, bitumen roads and heavy vehicle access. 9 The Amphitheatre Created in a natural concave hillside setting the Ivory s Rock Amphitheatre provides a breathtaking and spectacular location for any number of activities. Entirely covered with shade sails, the venue can be used from morning through to late night. Access roads provide good walking trails that are well lit and safe and an overall pleasant parkland vista gives this bush setting venue a comfortable and invigorating feeling. The venue can hold up to 5,000 people with modern bathrooms provided and room for food and beverage concessions. This can be complemented by utilising this venue in concert with the pavilion and its shops and seating areas. Seating can be configured theatre style or dining style with tables and chairs. There are sound booths located at the rear and a wide area designed for lobby and reception. Large tour buses can access the facility. The stage is well appointed and functional. Backstage there are VIP rooms for performers and presenters. There is a room strategically located for audio visual production, a broadcast room and a control room for production Directors. It is feasible and possible to achieve direct broadcast from this facility. A full technical data sheet with venue layouts and design is available upon request. Large vehicles can access the venue backstage and a large turning circle at the rear of the seating area and lobby also allows for access front of house. Full audio/visual hire packages are available upon request. 10 Accommodation Ivory s Rock offers a range of accommodation options. For large conventions, conferences, jamborees and educational camps the extensive campgrounds can be utilised. The Campgrounds offer accommodation for up to 3,000 people. Set in 42 hectares of landscaped parklands, there are six major areas all appointed with modern bathrooms and storm shelters. There are powered sites available in limited numbers suitable for caravans and motor homes. The Ivory s Rock team can provide fully equipped Safari style tents with bedding if required. For smaller groups and for personal visits, Ivory s Rock offers a range of regular accommodation options. Ironbark Village The Ironbark Village facility has 12 small cabins for up to 24 people. There is a fully equipped self-service café/dining room. Ironbark provides a delightful location where guests can wind down, go bushwalking and enjoy a serene, natural environment. There is a small meeting area, or groups can access the conference centre. 10

11 The Lodge Included in Ironbark Village is a Lodge and four annexes are situated on a ridge line overlooking the valley with a spectacular vista of Ivory s Rock. The lodge is a self-contained dwelling which has a kitchenette, dining room and small living room, a separate bedroom with a walk in closet and ensuite bathroom. Adjacent to the Lodge are four one bedroom annexes each have an ensuite bathroom, a bar fridge, small balcony and private entrance. The View Apartments - Coming Soon The View Apartments is a delight for those who enjoy a little stargazing after a great meal. Drive into your undercover car park and stay in one of four self-contained suites with a private balcony, bathroom, kitchenette and television. Your conference meeting or event is winding down, head to the View for a little luxury and take in the great wide vista of the milky way in all its glory. Located near the Amphitheatre, staying at The View will make your Casuarina dinner experience even more memorable.
