Recent notable events hosted at Commonwealth Stadium include the 2015 FIFA Women s World Cup (and opening ceremonies), Beyoncé, One Direction, Metallica, the Canadian Football League (CFL) Grey Cup Championship, Nitro Circus and more. The stadium is also home to the Edmonton Eskimos, professional football team (CFL). With a total stadium seating capacity of 56,400 and just minutes from the city centre, this 42-acre complex promises an unforgettable experience for everyone. 2

7 CLARKE STADIUM Located south-west of Commonwealth Stadium, Clarke Stadium is the original home of the Edmonton Eskimos. This facility is currently home to a professional soccer team (FC Edmonton), as well as numerous amateur sport clubs. Over the years, Clarke Stadium has also hosted concerts by the Tragically Hip, Midnight Oil and Dolly Parton. 8 COMMONWEALTH COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTRE The latest version of Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre opened in 2012 and offers a variety of amenities to support sporting events, meetings, recreation, conferences and concerts. 8

There is also a running track (250m) that circles the second level of the Field House. AQUATIC CENTRE Consists of a 25m four-lane salt water pool, leisure pool, waterslide, whirlpool and steam room. 10
