This past month and this month is festival time at our local churches. Don't forget to support them in their fundraising and if it gets to hot out there, our AC is running with cold beverages here to cool you down. Our July / August birthday party is August 15th. We doubled up this month as most folks were out of town on vacation in July. It should be another great party hope you can make it. August 22nd is the lodge's annual member's picnic. This year we are having it on SATURDAY again and running it later in the day so more members hopefully can attend. Remember it's for our current lodge members and their dependent children living at home. You want to bring your grandkids? Sign up your kid's as members and bring their kid's along. A lodge membership is a great gift for birthday's and Christmas. Plus your grandkids will have all the benefits of their parents being members with all our parties we have for our member's kids. Our sponsor incentive has finally hammered out for this fiscal year. It will be retroactive to May 1st. Sign up three new former or new members and receive your next year's dues free! So let's start signing up new members today! You still have time to sign up for the State horseshoes tournament in Beloit. It's on August 15th. Entry forms are available on the lodge. September 26th is the State Baggos tournament in Muskego. Entry forms are on the bulletin board in the lodge hallway. For you pool enthusiasts the State tournament is in Eau Claire this year on October 17th. Again signup sheets are on the hall bulletin board. Check out all our moose benefits and incentives for signing up new and former members for the State at wimoose.org and International at mooseintl.org. There is something there for everyone. Fraternally Yours, Rich Smart Administrator
2 2 NEWS FROM YOUR GOVERNOR Hey everybody. I've been under the weather for the past few weeks and been in and out of the hospital. Hope everyone is in good spirits and supporting the lodge and kitchen while I've been out. We have our monthly birthday party coming up on August 15th, this month's party will be for July and August as we missed it in July because of convention and a busy schedule. Congratulations to Rich Smart our newest Pilgrim. Rich received his degree of merit this past May and will be having his celebration on October 4th.
