This is the only conference in NZ that specifically caters for General Physicians, trainees in General and Acute Care Medicine and all those who practice general medicine. It provides an ideal opportunity to network with your colleagues from around NZ and across the Tasman and this year our meeting also coincides with the NZ RACP trainees day on the weekend providing an opportunity for trainees to interact with some of their future peers. We have a programme that will explore clinical updates, provoke discussion and challenge your thinking. 8 Registration Terms & Conditions Acknowledgement All registrations received prior to Monday 16 February 2015 will be acknowledged in writing. Registrations received after Monday 16 February 2015 will be processed on the day you arrive at the Conference. If you do not receive a confirmation of your registration within 30 minutes, please contact Workz4U Conference Management via conferences@w4u.co.nz. Online registrations will be acknowledged with an automated response and a tax invoice, which appears as an attachment. Alterations Alterations to your registration will not be accepted over the telephone. Cancellations made by 30th January 2015 will be refunded, less $ to cover administration costs. After this date, no refunds will be made. All refunds will be processed after the meeting. If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred. Due to increasingly frequent issues with credit card fraud, the banks and credit card companies are imposing restrictions to the way we process client s credit card information. We will retain your credit card details and if you fail to arrive or pay for your accommodation we will charge the appropriate amount to the credit card provided by you. Change of Booking and Cancellations All reservations are subject to the individual hotel cancellation policies as stated in the hotel information on this page. Any cancellation or change to a reservation must be made in writing to the Conference manager via to conferences@ workz4u.co.nz and NOT directly to the hotel. Sharing Accommodation Only ONE of the sharing delegates should submit the accommodation booking. Accommodation has been organised for delegates of the conference only. Goods and Services Tax Goods and services in New Zealand are subject to a 15% tax (GST). This tax is usually included in the price, and if not, is clearly stated. This tax cannot be claimed back when leaving the country. Insurance Delegates are advised to book comprehensive travel and medical insurance and ensure that all possessions are adequately insured. The policy should include loss of fees/ deposits through cancellation of your participation in the conference. The Conference Managers will not accept any responsibility for delegates failing to arrange insurance. Liability Disclaimer The Organising Committee, including the Conference Managers, will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons or loss or damage to their personal property as a result of the meeting or related events. Name Badges All delegates will be given a name badge upon registration. This name badge is your official pass to the conference. It is necessary for delegates to wear their name badge at all time when on-site.
