5 AUDITORIUM DELLA TECNICA There s a brand new conference center. Here, the historic architectural value and innovative visions meet to make every event unique and memorable. THEEURDISTRICTHASBECOMEACANDIDATEASTHENEWCONGRESSFOCALPOINTOFROME The Eur district was designed as an exhibition and congress area for the Roman Universal Exhibition of An exceptional Architecture scenery surrounded by 70 hectaresofparksand gardens, today the Eur isamodern and vivid business district.ithasbecomeacandidateasthenewcongressfocalpoint ofrome, thanks to its 26 structures in the meeting industry. Some examples are: the Palazzo della Civiltà (the Square Colosseum), the Palazzo dei Congressi and the Auditorium del Massimo. Among the most recent facilities, the Nuovo Centro Congressi (New Congress Center), also know as La Nuvola (The Cloud), designed by Architect Massimiliano Fuksas. Very close to the historic centre of the city, the Eur district also provides a lot of services: high quality hospitality structures, direct links to Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, and Termini and Tiburtina railway stations; health centres, luxury shops, parks and green areas. Last but not least, the proximity to the Ostia coast and its many attractions.

6 AUDITORIUM DELLA TECNICA «ARCHITECTURE INSIDE THE ARCHITECTURE» The Auditorium was opened on May 30, It was the day of the Confindustria General Assembly during which President Giovanni Agnelli was elected. Since then, and for more than 40 years, thanks to its 18 meeting rooms and wide multi-use areas, the Auditorium has had a fundamental role as an efficient and functional conference space in the Eur district. TheworkofrenovationoftheAuditoriumdellaTecnicawaspromotedattheendof2015andcompleted in the first part of It gave great value back to a prestigious space, turned into a contemporary facility and finally recognized aspart ofthemodern architecture ofthe city. Herearesomeoftheresults of this operation: the spaces were completely rearranged thanks to the use of innovative and high quality materials; systems renovation; adaptation to standards; removal of architectural barriers; energy-saving saving; advanced audio and video devices; development of more flexible and versatile spaces in the whole building. The Auditorium, in particular, has great acoustics, versatile lighting for the room and the stage, professional PA system, multiple screens.

7 AUDITORIUM DELLA TECNICA AUDITORIUM PLENARY ROOM The Auditorium della Tecnica has almost 800 seats, one 9 meters long table for speakers composed by fixable parts, with a podium, 2 galleries to follow the event and 3 screens. The audio and video systems are modern and advanced and the room is also equipped for simultaneous translation. 8 AUDITORIUM DELLA TECNICA PININFARINA ROOM The Andrea Pininfarinameeting room has the shape of an amphitheatre,, 150 seatsavailable for the audience plus 9 at the speakers table, all equipped with microphone and sockets. In the meeting room simultaneous translationis available, together with PA and recording systems. 9 AUDITORIUM DELLA TECNICA BREAKOUT ROOMS There will be 6 or 7 breakout rooms available for the congress from 20 to 300 seats. The rooms are modular thanks to the use of sliding doors.

10 AUDITORIUM DELLA TECNICA EXHIBITION SPACES & CATERING The catering area and the sponsor area can be set up in the two Exhibitions Hall, located on the ground floor, and in the areas adjacent to the Auditorium (foyer). 11 AUDITORIUM DELLA TECNICA EXHIBITION SPACES In case of number of confirmed sponsors will increase more than what is currently considered(see the previous slide), it will be possible to move all the catering service at Terrazza Capogrossi, in order to increase the space available for the exhibition. In this case, a tensile structure must be set up on the terrace. Description: The Capogrossi Terrace, on the last floor of the Confindustria Palace, takes itsnamefromthewide black and white mosaic covering its floors, designed by the artist Giuseppe Capogrossi, one of the most important representatives of the Italian informal artistic movement ofthe 1900s. The mosaic duplicates an artist s sketch in which there is his typical comb design since This area was born as a parking lot but its value was eventually recognized: -This is, in fact, one of the last pieces of art designed by Capogrossi, The design is an example of applied art, a successful experiment of arts synthesis, the result of a long debate which started in the 1930s and became very intense during the 1960s about the gathering of all disciplines, especially of architecture and figurative arts.

15 50 YEARS CELEBRATION EMOTIONAL VIDEO 2020 will be an important year for IFHE as it will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. In addition to ensuring the design and management of initiatives related to the 50th, will actively contribute to enhancing the event, with an ad hoc audiovisual production free of charge: an emotional video to celebrate the 50th anniversary of IFHE's foundation and to exalt the city of Rome leading of this appointment, the works, the mission and the values of the Association. Video will be entirely designed and realized by a specialists in the field, based on the customer's wishes and desiderata. It will be declined in coherence with the proposed creative concept and accompanied by an emotional soundtrack.

16 50 YEARS CELEBRATION COMMEMORATIVE BOOK To celebrate the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Society, sponsored the production of a commemorative book reviewing the past and present accomplishments of the Society. This commemorative book provides an overview of the Society, its membership and executive, endeavors and achievements, awards and prizes, and future aspirations. Numerous individuals provided material for the book and we are extremely grateful for their contributions. A Commemorative Book is an excellent way to celebrate a milestone and memorialize the event in print so that you may look back upon it whenever you please.
