We use income generated through our events to fund new equipment and facilities to support the training of our apprentices, giving young engineers the chance to build a career in an exciting, thriving and innovative environment. As we welcome more and more organisations to AMTC, we also continue to build on our full service solution. Our exclusive use offering is becoming increasingly popular and, with the installation of new digital signage, customers can take over the venue in its entirety and make a real impression with delegates. 7 Sir William Siemens Theatre Exhibition Space The impressive 252-seat Sir William Siemens Theatre features a cinematic style projection screen complemented by two 75 side screens. The theatre also features advanced communications technology and outstanding acoustics to add real impact and drama to your event. Our modern exhibition space offers a bright and airy environment to be creative with your exhibitions and displays. The bi-fold doors are a key feature as they connect the exhibition space to the car park, making it easily accessible for moving big items such as vehicles and large display equipment into the exhibition area. 8 Restaurant With plenty of natural light, a lakeside view and doors leading out to the terrace, our large open plan restaurant is at the heart of our venue. It can accommodate large gala dinners, fine dining and conference lunches. Our restaurant area can also be transformed into an exhibition area for product launches and breakout sessions. Lakeside Terrace & Outdoor Space Our fantastic waterside location offers an outside option for summer gatherings. With direct access into the Sir William Siemens Theatre, the mezzanine also provides a relaxing area for conference refreshment breaks and light lunches. Tilly Shilling The Tilly Shilling suite is one of our feature rooms, with a wall of windows looking out onto the lake. Situated on the ground floor of the MTC, it can host large meetings and conferences with ease. It can even be transformed into a private dining room for special occasions. 17 Team Building Here at MTC Events we can provide a wide range of professionally delivered team building activities, outdoor and indoor events, bespoke events, evening entertainment and themed events. MTC Events has the perfect event space to host an array of activities including motion machine, movie creation, race nights, quest for the best and crystal maze. To hear more about team building events at the MTC, please speak to a member of the team. We held a team building event at the MTC followed by our Christmas Party at one of the partner hotels and from start to finish, the experience of working with the MTC events team was fantastic. 19 AV Support Technical AV support and connectivity Each meeting room has state-of-the-art flat screen HD TVs and connectivity via wireless, HDMI or USB from the desks. It means no need for messy cables and ensures that whatever your device, we will be able to share your content on the large screen. We can also provide additional AV and technology support and technicians to manage this as required. If hiring the lecture theatre, then we will include technical support to ensure the smooth running of your content on the 8.5m² video wall. Accommodation & Travel We work closely with local hotels and transport companies, meaning we can help you source and book hotel accommodation at preferential rates for your delegates, including transfer to and from the MTC. We ll then provide one complete invoice combining your events and accommodation costs into one package. Live broadcast Don t want to wait until after your event to showcase it? We can help you set up live broadcasts of your event to reach a wider audience than just your delegates in attendance

Our partners can help with designing digital and physical branding, and we ll offer social media support across our Twitter and LinkedIn channels to our followers from companies operating in high value manufacturing and emerging technologies industries. Photography & Video Production If you re looking to create a highlights package for post event promotion, we can source professional photography and video from our partners, and help you get exactly the kind of shots you want. Digital and onsite branding Our recent digital signage installation means you can have a presence onsite in the build up to your event, alongside more traditional physical onsite advertising, such as pullup banners in our reception area which has a footfall of over 4,000 every month

23 About The MTC The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) develops and proves innovative manufacturing processes and technologies in an agile, low risk environment, in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. The MTC has over 100 industrial members, from SMEs to large OEMs, who represent a diverse range of companies across a number of sectors from aerospace, automotive, rail and transport, to food and drink, defence, construction, civil engineering and electronics. The Lloyds Bank Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre (AMTC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the MTC, was established off the back of the MTC s success, to train apprentices and engineers to use tomorrow s technology productively. We use income generated through our events and other activities to fund new equipment and facilities to support the training of our apprentices, giving young engineers the chance to build a career in an exciting, thriving and innovative environment

24 The Story So Far The MTC building is opened with 10 external event spaces consisting of meeting rooms, workshop and exhibition space The Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre (AMTC) is established to help create a new generation of engineers and technicians. The AMTC building is opened with 12 event spaces consisting of meeting rooms, exhibition spaces and a lecture theatre MTC Events created to help fund the AMTC apprenticeship programme with new equipment and machinery The MTC surpasses 100 industrial members. The AMTC announces a record intake of female apprentices The MTC campus expands with the Sopwith building being opened by Chancellor of Exchequer, the Rt Hon Phillip Hammond, providing an additional six meeting spaces consisting of meeting rooms and exhibition space The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) is established as an independent Research & Technology Organisation, representing one of the largest public sector investments in UK manufacturing The MTC gains National Centre for Additive Manufacturing status. Lloyds Bank announces sponsorship of 5m over five years, for the AMTC to help train apprentices Panasonic, Renault and Nissan host product launch events at the AMTC Lloyds agree to extend 5m sponsorship of the AMTC for a further five years taking their investment to 10m over 10 years.
