One of the many features of the 2015 edition will once again be the Innovation Corners, areas designed for exhibitors to present their technology innovations supported by a rich meeting calendar running throughout the exhibition. Plan the future. A multidisciplinary area developed in partnership with the National Packaging Consortium (Conai), to promote sustainable development in packaging. It involves research institutes, associations and universities and features seminars, roundtables and workshops. Packaging for Vending. A project coordinated by CONFIDA the Italian Association vending industry focused on packaging innovation for vending machines. Participants will benefit from a wide range of discussion and networking opportunities: a dedicated exhibition area, a special convention and awards for the best packaging designed for this rapidly developing distribution channel. IPACK-IMA 2015 will also host two special initiatives: the Packaging Oscars awards ceremony organized by the Italian Packaging Institute for which IPACK-IMA sponsors the Technology Section; and the WorldStar Packaging Awards ceremony, since 1970 assigned by WPO (World Packaging Organisation) to the world s best packaging.
