3 MTE 2015 GENERAL INFORMATION Exhibition dates: May 2015 Exhibition timings: 10am 6pm Venue: Dhahran International Exhibition Center Number of Exhibiting companies: 127 Number of countries: 25 Exhibition area: 5180 sqm Number of participants: 3482 Opening ceremony under the Auspices of the Undersecretary of the Eastern Region Governorate Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al- Battal The 1st Edition of MTE 2015, the Saudi Arabia International Machine Tools and Machinery Exhibition was held in Dammam from May 19-21, 2015, with an aim to develop a stabile business network for clients and buyers, to provide a stronger foundation for business development, and to support investment opportunities in the Machine Tools and Machinery sector of Saudi Arabia.

4 Providing the complete event in Saudi Arabia for the Machinery Industry and thank to an active support and attention, MTE 2015 attracted high- level technical experts, key industry professionals, specialists and decision makers in various sectors of the machinery industry. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al- Battal, representing the Eastern Region Governorate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, officially opened the 1st edition of the Saudi Arabia International Machine Tools and Machinery Exhibition on May 19 th. During a detailed tour of the Exhibition, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al- Battal met with many of the key companies and presented awards to the Associate Companies. MTE 2015 Statistics 42% Exhibitors companies sold machines during the three- day show 98% Exhibitors stated that the machine handling onsite was excellent 68% Exhibitors will recondirm the participation at MTE % Exhibitors stated that the quality of the visitors was excellent MTE 2015 Statistics 97% Exhibitors stated that the organization of the show was at a very high level Overall feedback from the Exhibitors at MTE 2015 was very positive with many of the exhibiting companies observing that the Event provided high quality leads. Based on this, many of the Exhibitors have confirmed that they will participate at the next edition of MTE. Saudi Arabia on its unique strategic location continues to be considered an important hub in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia keeps bridging the markets of east and west, and highlighting its potential as a leading global Machine tools and machinery country.

Launched well in advance of the Show it ensured the widest qualified attendance possible. The promotion for MTE 2015 included an advertising campaign in English and Arabic languages in daily, weekly and monthly publications, as well as in B2B Trade Magazines and a significant amount of online advertising, which is achieved via supporting websites, portals and permanent campaigns on all of the online editions. Press releases were also published in a broad selection of global industry newspapers and magazines throughout the region. In addition, the local marketing campaign involved expanded visibility with over 120 outdoor billboards which were placed in strategic locations around Dammam, Dhahran and Al- Khobar as well as on the Causeway from Bahrain.
