Q-9 eaper procurement includes all components of the Q-9 weapon system. he basic Q-9 eaper system consists of the aircraft, sensors, a round ontrol tation (), communications equipment, weapon kits, support equipment, simulator and training devices, eadiness pares ackages (), technical data/training, and personnel required to operate, maintain, and sustain the system. he system is designed to be modular and open-ended. ission-specific equipment is employed in a plug-and-play mission kit concept allowing specific aircraft and control station configurations to be tailored to fit mission needs. ue to the nature of the platform, all future production requirements may vary based on warfighter necessity and available funding. he Q-9 eaper aircraft is a single-engine, turbo-prop emotely iloted ircraft () designed to operate over-the-horizon at medium-to-high altitude for long endurance sorties. he aircraft is being designed primarily to prosecute critical emerging ime-ensitive-argets () as a radar, lectro-ptical/infra-ed (/I), and laser designator-based attack asset with on-board hard-kill capability (hunter-killer) while performing Intelligence, urveillance, econnaissance and arget cquisition (I ).
