I used laser unit TS to perform a speed check and found the vehicle to be traveling at 55 mph. I initiated a traffic stop and advised the driver, Mr. Spriggs, why I had stopped him. Mr. Spriggs stated he had just gotten off the interstate and his dog was also bothering him. Mr. Spriggs was cited for speed. I activated radar unit (E22204) and a speed of 37 mph was detected. I initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Addyson Schubert. I advised Schubert of the reason for the traffic stop. She stated she believed the speed limit was 35 mph. She was issued a citation for Speed 37 mph in a 20 mph school zone. (ORC b1a,MM). I was directly behind the blue Infinity. The rear plate, Ohio EMP4434, displayed expirations stickers for 2011 and I stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Seth Moody. He provided vehicle registration papers that expired December 27, Moody was under a license forfeiture suspension. I ran a check on the plate and verified through LEADS that the plate expired last December. Moody was issued a citation for Expired Registration ORC (M4) and License Forfeiture Suspension ORC A (UM). He was notified of his mandatory court appearance.officer Williams and I inventoried the vehicle and Ray's towed the car from the roadway. Upon making contact with Francis she was found to be crying. She stated she had a suspended drivers license and was heading to southern Illinois to be with her mother who is near death.
