1 10/23/2015 to INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/23/2015 RPT DATE: 10/23/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 11:43 RPT TIME: 11: SLAB RD SHADE On October 23, 2014 a female called in stating that some tools were taken off of her porch on Slab Road in Shade over the last 48 hours. The tools included a chain saw, a weed eater, and a lawn mower. She advised that she has no suspects for the event but needed the event documented for insurance purposes. Pending further information there is no need for further action on this case. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/23/2015 RPT DATE: 10/23/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 14:11 RPT TIME: 14: Fullview Heights DR Athens On October 23, 2015 a male came into the Athens County Sheriff's Office to report some property stolen from Fullview Heights in Athens. He left a canoe, a cannon, and other property in a barn at a rental property a friend was living in. He last saw the property in fall of 2014 and when he went to recover some of the property on October 13, 2015 he found the property was no longer in the barn. He has contact the rental agency, Capstone Rentals and several other individuals all denied having seen the property. Another prior resident of the property had taken custody of the canoe when the barn underwent construction and returned the canoe to the complainant but was unfamiliar with the remainder of the property. At this time this case is closed pending further investigatory information. Upon arrival I made contact with the male, who stated that his girlfriend was gathering her items and that they were arguing about some property. The Owner of the property had called in and stated that he found where someone had been staying in his building and that they had taken some items from the building. This case is still under further investigation. I was called off by the dispatch center before I arrived. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/23/2015 RPT DATE: 10/23/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 17:47 RPT TIME: 17: FISHER RD ATHENS On October 23, 2015 Deputies were called Fisher Rd. in Athens, for an active dispute. Upon arrival units made contact with both involved parties. They stated that the argument started about the cable bill. Both parties were advised to separate for the evening. No further action needed at this time. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/23/2015 RPT DATE: 10/23/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 20:55 RPT TIME: 20:55 Movies US RTE 33 NELSONVILLE On October 24, 2015 Deputies were called Movies 10 in Nelsonville, for an active dispute. The caller stated that she observed a couple in the parking lot of Movies 10 arguing and she saw the male grab the female by the arm. Upon arrival units made contact with the male and female who stated that their vehicle wouldn't start and that they were arguing about who to call for a ride. The male, Evan Smith, was found to have an active warrant out of Perry County. He was arrested and transported to SEORJ without further incident. The female was released to a valid driver for the evening. No further action needed at this time. Page 2 of 7

The caller stated that while he was sleeping, he heard two people arguing and one threw a bottle and left in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. Units patrolled the area and could not locate any signs of a broken bottle. Deputies returned to patrol. No further action needed at this time. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/23/2015 RPT DATE: 10/23/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 22:56 RPT TIME: 22:56 18 N MCDONALD ST THE PLAINS On made contact with multiple individuals in Dover Twp regarding a loud party complaint. Individuals who were hosting party were advised that after 2300hrs (11pm) there was an expectation quiet and any further complaints related to a noise complaint could result in one or all being criminally charged. Returned to patrol, no further action taken. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/24/2015 RPT DATE: 10/24/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 1:18 RPT TIME: 1: OAKDALE RD GLOUSTER On October 24, 2015 at 01:18 hrs Deputies were dispatched to Oakdale Road in Glouster on a suspicious vehicle and person complaint. Upon arriving the vehicle was gone. Deputies patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle.. Page 3 of 7
4 10/23/2015 to INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/24/2015 RPT DATE: 10/24/2015 COMMENT: MAN BUSTING WINDOW IN CAR WITH CROWBAR INCIDENT TIME: 8:48 RPT TIME: 8: TAYLOR RIDGE RD GLOUSTER On 10/24/2015, The Athens County Sheriff's Office responded to Taylor Ridge Road in Glouster for an active criminal damaging complaint. The complainant advised that an individual had just busted the driver's side window of her vehicle out while in a dispute. Deputies arrived to find that the suspect had fled the scene. It was also discovered that a robbery had taken place among the individuals that were in the dispute. A crowbar was used to threaten the victim for all the money he had in his pocket while beating him with it. The suspect fled the scene after causing physical injuries to the victim and taking $170. This case is still under investigation. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/24/2015 RPT DATE: 10/24/2015 COMMENT: Patrol Request INCIDENT TIME: 13:37 RPT TIME: 13: Pleasant Hill Rd ATHENS On 10/24/2015, The Athens County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Pleasant Hill Road in Athens for a patrol request. The complainant stated that they could hear several gunshots in the area and were unsure of the safety and direction of the shots. Deputies patrolled the area and did not observe any sounds of gunshots. No further action was taken in this case. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/24/2015 RPT DATE: 10/24/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 15:57 RPT TIME: 15: ROBINETTE RIDGE RD NEW MARSHFIELD On October 24, 2015 I was dispatched to Robinette Ridge Road in New Marshfield regarding a vehicle along the roadway that was involved in an assault in Vinton County last night. When I arrived I spoke with the person who called this in. She explained that the vehicle that is along the roadway was involved in an assault last night in Vinton County. I then had the dispatch center contact ODNR and was advised that there was no hold on the vehicle. The vehicle was legally parked and no further action was taken. Page 4 of 7

Upon arrival, deputies met with the complainant who stated that she had been assaulted by a live-in domestic partner. The complainant did have visible, physical injuries and was transported to OMH for treatment. Upon speaking with the suspect, he told Deputies that he had caused the injuries. The suspect was then placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the SEORJ. INCD TYPE: 911O INCIDENT DATE: 10/24/2015 RPT DATE: 10/24/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 23:00 RPT TIME: 23: BANK ST BUCHTEL On :01 Deputies were dispatched to a residence in York Twp in reference to an open 911 line. Made contact with the homeowner who advised that she was in bed sleeping and she did not call for assistance. This complaint was is unfounded, all was well in the home, returned to patrol. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/24/2015 RPT DATE: 10/24/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 23:20 RPT TIME: 23: MOHICAN DR NEW MARSHFIELD On October 24, 2015 deputies were dispatched to Mohican Drive in New Marshfield to assist ACEMS with a possible drug overdose. Upon arriving on scene it was discovered the victim was having a bad reaction to the LSD that he had consumed. The male subject was transported to O'Bleness Hospital by ACEMS. Page 5 of 7

Upon arriving on scene contact was made with the homeowner, and it was discovered they were having issues with their phone line and there was no emergency. No further action taken. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/25/2015 RPT DATE: 10/25/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 17:20 RPT TIME: 17: MONROE AV CHAUNCEY On the Athens County Sheriff's Office responded to a Monroe Street in Chauncey in reference to an open door on an empty residence. Upon arrival units checked the residence and found it to be empty. The open door was locked and shut, no further action. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/25/2015 RPT DATE: 10/25/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 17:59 RPT TIME: 17:59 8 MAPLE LN THE PLAINS On the Athens County Sheriff's Office was requested to patrol East First Street in The Plains in reference to a male urinating near Maple Lane. The male was reported to be wearing a brown/ tan jacket over a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Units patrolled First Street and the surrounding area but had negative contact. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/25/2015 RPT DATE: 10/25/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 21:24 RPT TIME: 21:24 Dollar General + 70 N Plains Rd The Plains On the Athens County Sheriff's Office received a report of a shoplifter at the Dollar General store of The Plains. A female removed approximately $30 worth of items from the store. This matter is under investigation. Page 6 of 7
7 10/23/2015 to INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: 10/25/2015 RPT DATE: 10/25/2015 COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 23:06 RPT TIME: 23:06 0 S Blackburn Rd Athens On October 25, 2015 Deputy Chris Tomsha conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration, and the registered owner had an active warrant out of Athens County. Upon making contact the driver was identified as Gerald Douglas Jr. During the course of the investigation it was also discovered that the vehicle had fictitious plates, and Douglas currently had a suspended drivers license. Douglas was arrested pursuant to the active warrant, and was cited for expired registration, fictitious tags, and driving under suspension. During a vehicle inventory a glass container containing white powder along with a glass pipe were located. The powder was field tested and tested positive for methamphetamine. The powder and pipe will be sent away for testing and additional charges are pending. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: RPT DATE: COMMENT: Vehicle Doors Open INCIDENT TIME: 3:28 RPT TIME: 3:28 0 OHIO AV THE PLAINS On :28 Deputies were dispatched to The Plains to perform a patrol request. A complainant was called in to AC 911 about individuals entering vehicles. Vehicles were located that had been entered and loose change stolen. The identity of the suspects is unknown at this time, however his incident remains under investigation. INCD TYPE: INCIDENT DATE: RPT DATE: COMMENT: INCIDENT TIME: 2:28 RPT TIME: 2:28 28 N Plains Rd The Plains On the Athens County Sheriff's Office was advised that 2 individuals wearing hooded sweat shirts were attempting to enter vehicles in The Plains. Deputies patrolled the area and located a set of vehicles that had been entered. No suspects were located at this time.
