Schafer was stopped in traffic in the center lane. Devon Launder was driving a 1991 white Pontiac passenger car on southbound SR25 in the center lane, behind the Acura. Launder moved into the left turn lane at the intersection. While doing so, his right side mirror struck the left rear side panel of the Acura, which collapsed the Pontiacs right mirror and caused damage to both vehicles. The Pontiac continued east on W Indiana Avenue without stopping.schafer followed behind the Pontiac, flashing her headlights and honking her horn. Launder did pull to the side of the road on W Indiana Avenue and Louisiana Avenue. However, when Toni motioned to him that she was using her cell phone to call the police, Launder pulled back onto the roadway and traveled south on Louisiana Avenue. Schafer contacted the police division and relayed Launder's direction of travel. I stopped Launder on W South Boundary at Mulberry Street. Launder was issued a citation for ORC Stopping after an Accident - Streets (M1) and ORC Rules for Driving in Marked Lanes (mm). Launder was notified of his mandatory court date.
