The registered owner of the vehicle, Tenetta Whiteside, came back as suspended. I was able to pull alongside the car and the driver appeared to match the description of the RO. I activated my overhead lights and initiated a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Cora Jackson, the sister of Whiteside. I explained the reason for the stop to Jackson and requested her ID to verify she was to be driving. She was found to be under 9 different suspensions. A tow was requested and the vehicle was inventoried by Officer Layton prior to being towed by VJ's. I transported Jackson off the highway and to the Speedway on SR 25. She was issued citations for 12pt Suspension- ORC A (M1), Non-Compliance Suspension- ORC A (M1) and License Forfeiture Suspension- ORC A (M1). She was given a mandatory court date of Friday, October 19th at 8:45am. During the inventory, a billfold belonging to Whiteside was located and taken for safekeeping. Inside were Social Security cards allegedly belonging to her children, Dramane Cotton and Tayshajza Turner. Whiteside will be sent a postcard with information to retrieve her property. A check with stationary radar indicated the Vitera was traveling at a speed of 45 MPH through the 20 MPH school zone while passing E Seventh St. A traffic stop was initiated and Nicole Gomez was identified as the driver. Ms Gomez stated she was not from this area and was visiting her grandparents.
