1 KETCHIKAN POLICE DEPARTMENT CITY OF KETCHIKAN 361 MAIN STREET, KETCHIKAN, AK PH (907) FAX (907) February 20, 2013 On 1/22/13 at about 4:27 PM officers arrested DALTON NEWSOME, 21 years of age of Ketchikan AK, was arrested on two outstanding warrants. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $ bail. On 1/24/13 at about 3:39 PM officers arrested JENNIFER GEARY, 35 years of age of Ketchikan AK, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. She was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held on $ bail. On 1/25/13 at about 4:30 PM officers executed a search warrant on the F/V Silver Surfer. During the search officers found methamphetamine on the person of DAVID VEST, 36 years of age of Ketchikan AK. He was arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail. On 1/26/13 at about 3:22 AM officers conducted a traffic stop on a green Ford Focus in the 900 block of Stedman for speeding. Officers contacted the driver, CHRISTOPHER LYNCH, 28 years of age of Ketchikan AK, who was found to have signs of intoxication. Mr. Lynch was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $1, bail. On 1/27/13 at about 1:59 AM officers responded to 633 Steadman for a male refusing to pay his cab fare. Upon arriving officers contacted CLIFFORD LERVICK, 48 years of age of Ketchikan AK, and found he was refusing to pay $13.20 for his cab ride. Mr. Lervick was arrested for Theft in the Fourth Degree and transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance. On 1/27/13 at about 3:05 PM officers were dispatched to the Marry Frances on a report of a female causing a disturbance. Officers contacted LASHAUNDRA MILNE, 25 years of age of Ketchikan AK, who was found to show signs of intoxication. She was arrested for Violation of Conditions of Release and transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held on $ bail. On 1/28/13 at about 9:00 PM officers were dispatched the area of 1638 Tongass Avenue on a report of a male attacking a female. Upon arriving officers contacted a female who stated she was walking on the sidewalk when a male came running up behind her, knocked her to the ground and then struck her in the face. She stated she did not know the male. Upon investigation officers arrested TIMOTHY BERRY, 19 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Assault in the Fourth Degree. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $1, bail.
2 On 1/29/13 at about 9:59 AM officers were dispatched to Creek Street on a report of a domestic fight. Upon investigation officers arrested CONAN GUTHRIE, 30 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail. On 1/30/13 at about 12:50 PM officers arrested PAUL GOBLE, 46 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Disorderly Conduct. He had been seen urinating in the 300 block of Front Street. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance. On 1/30/13 at about 11:57 PM officers were dispatched to Water Street on a report of a domestic fight in progress. Upon investigation officers arrested KIRSTEN MICHAEL, 27 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence. She was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held without bail. On 1/31/13 at about 4:30 PM officers were dispatched to Buren Avenue on a report of a domestic fight in progress. Upon investigation officers arrested TERI DESCHENE, 41 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence. She was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held without bail. On 1/31/13 at about 7:47 PM officers were dispatched to Park Avenue on a report of a domestic fight in progress. Upon investigation officers arrested MELINDA INGALSBE, 44 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence and Assault in the Fourth Degree. She was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held without bail. On 2/2/13 at about 4:35 PM officers arrested THADDEUS MAYFIELD, 26 years of age of Ketchikan AK, on an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $ bail. On 2/2/13 at about 5:27 PM officers were dispatched to Park Avenue on a report of a domestic fight in progress. Upon investigation officers arrested JULIETTE GARDNER, 52 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence. She was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held without bail. On 2/3/13 at about 11:46 AM officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of North Tongass Highway on a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arriving officers were told the driver involved in the accident had fled on foot. Officers found MATHEW MARTINEZ, 29 years of age of Ketchikan AK, a short distance away. After investigating, officers arrested Mr. Martinez for Driving While License Suspended and Violation of Conditions of Release. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $ bail. On 2/3/13 at about 1:26 PM officers conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Escape for a minor traffic violation. Upon investigation officers arrested ERIC ELMER, 38 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Driving While License Suspended and Probation Violation. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where ser was held without bail. 2
3 On 2/3/13 at about 4:02 PM officers conducted a traffic stop on a brown GMC truck in the 300 block of Dock Street for a minor traffic violation. Upon investigation officers issued TODD TURNER, 33 years of age of Ketchikan AK, a misdemeanor citation for Driving While License Revoked. On 2/3/13 at about 4:28 PM officers saw Mr. Turner driving the same truck on Kennedy Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop and arrested Mr. Turner for Driving While License Revoked and transported him to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance. On 2/4/13 at about 12:12 PM officers conducted at traffic stop on a white Chevrolet Lumina on Alaska Avenue for a minor traffic infraction. Upon investigation officers arrested DAVID MASON, 48 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Driving While License Suspended and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $ bail. On 2/6/13 at about 4:26 PM officers were dispatched to Schoenbar Road on a report of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. Upon investigation officers arrested NICHOLAS BADER, 51 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Violation of Conditions of Release. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $ bail. On 2/7/13 at about 10:33 PM officers arrested TIMOTHY VOLPI JR, 31 years of age of Ketchikan AK, on an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $ bail. On 2/7/13 at about 10:34 PM officers arrested JOSEPH FEAK, 51 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Drunken Persons on Licensed Premises. Officers had contacted due to a disturbance call early where he was warned he was too intoxicated to enter any more licensed premises for the night. On 2/8/13 at about 2:36 PM officers were dispatched to Wal Mart on a report of a female shoplifter in custody. Upon investigation officers issued a misdemeanor citation to GENE TROUT, 26 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Theft in the Third Degree. She was found to have concealed $97.97 worth of merchandise. On 2/8/13 at about 10:17 PM officers were requested to assist the Alaska State Troopers. It was reported that AST was attempting to arrest JEEP WHITESIDES, 21 years of Ketchikan AK, on an outstanding warrant. Mr. Whitesides fled on foot and was arrested a short distance away. While being taken into custody he was found to have nine small baggies containing methamphetamine. He was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was booked on Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. He was held without bail. On 2/9/13 at about 2:06 AM officers issued STANLEY EDENSHAW, 30 years of age of Ketchikan AK, a misdemeanor citation for Driving While License Suspended. 3
4 On 2/11/13 at about 12:05 AM officers issues DALLAS SPALDING, 27 years of age of Ketchikan AK, a misdemeanor citation for Driving While License Suspended. On 2/12/13 at about 2:15 PM officers arrested LEONARD DRISCOLL for Driving While License Suspended and Violation of Conditions of Release. He was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $ bail. On 2/12/13 at about 3:50 PM officers were dispatched to Glacier Park Apartments on a report of a domestic assault in progress. Upon investigation officers arrested LAPAIRS SHAW, 21 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence, Violation of Conditions of Release and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Sixth Degree. He was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail. On 2/12/13 at about 8:52 PM officers arrested ANITA NORDLUND, 28 years of age of Ketchikan AK, on an outstanding warrant. She was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held on $ bail. On 2/14/13 at about 5:53 PM officers were dispatched to Wal Mart on a report of an adult female shoplifter in custody. Upon investigation officers issued BONNIE ABBOTT, 42 years of age of Ketchikan AK, a misdemeanor citation for Theft in the Fourth Degree. She was found to have taken $30.00 worth of merchandise. On 2/15/13 at about 11:35 PM officers arrested MICHELE FRANK, 27 years of age of Ketchikan AK, on an outstanding warrant. She was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held on $ bail. On 2/16/13 at about 9:14 PM officers were dispatched to the area of the North Tongass car wash on a report of a vehicle speeding and crossing the center and fog lines. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in Airport parking lot. Upon investigation officers arrested BRENDA KILLIAN, 47 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Driving Under the Influence and Driving While License Suspended. She was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was set to be released on her own recognizance. On 2/17/13 at about 12:53 AM officers were dispatched to the Landing Hotel on a report of a male refusing to pay a cab fare of $8.70. Upon investigation officers arrested GREGORY GUTHRIE, 32 years of age of Metlakatla AK for Theft in the Fourth Degree. HE was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance. On 2/17/13 at about 2:10 AM officers were dispatched to Cape Fox on a report of a female causing a disturbance. Upon investigation officers arrested LEO KOSTROMETINOFF, 30 years of age of Metlakatla AK, for Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. He was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail. On 2/17/13 at about 2:43 PM officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Subaru in the 1800 block of Tongass for a minor traffic offense. Upon investigation officers issued JUSTIN KRUPP, 27 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, a misdemeanor citation for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Sixth Degree. 4
5 On 2/18/13 at about 5:47 PM officers arrested MIKEL DURPEE, 24 years of age of Ketchikan AK, on an outstanding warrant. He was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $5, bail. On 2/20/13 at about 2:10 AM officers arrested JENNIFER TREAT, 28 years of age of Ketchikan AK, for Driving While License Suspended and Violation of Conditions of Release. She was transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held on $ bail. 5
