I estimated the vehicle to be traveling at about 40 mph. I used laser unit TS to perform a speed check and found the vehicle to be traveling at 40 mph. I initiated traffic stop and advised the driver Mr. McClintock why I had stopped him. Mr. McClintock stated he was looking for a office store to pick up supplies and was not watching his speed. Mr. McClintock was cited for speed and given directions to various stores on US 20.I had good tracking no interference and a calibration check was done at about 1535 hrs. Chloe Puhl was behind Mr. Hinckley and struck his vehicle in the rear end causing damage to both vehicles. Ms. Puhl stated her foot slipped and she hit the accelerator. I identified the driver as Justin P. Lecompte and informed him of the violations. Mr. Lecompte stated that he was aware that his registration was expired but did not have the time or money to renew it. Mr. Lecompte was cited for Expired Registration (ORC ; M4) and warned for littering. He was told to provide the court with a current copy of his insurance card. The vehicle appeared to be traveling at a greater speed then the posted speed limit of 40 mph. I estimated the vehicle's speed at 60 mph. I checked the vehicle's speed with laser unit number UX at 58 mph. I stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Lynn Simonye. She stated she did not realize she was going that fast. McClain had a suspended driver's license. While on SR 25 near Eckel Junction Rd. I observed that the driver matched the physical description of the registered owner and a traffic stop was initiated near the above location. Upon approach of the vehicle I observed the neither the driver nor the front seat passenger were wearing seatbelts. Also a small child on the right rear seat was not in a booster seat. I requested identification from the occupants of the vehicle. The driver Ms. McClain advised that her license was suspended. The male in the front seat Kennard Khilall did not have a valid license either. VJ's was called to tow the Plymouth and the license plates were removed per the BMV. Ms. McClain was cited for DUS-FRA Non-compliance (ORC A; UM) and Safety Belt-booster seat (ORC B2; MM). A court date was set for June at 8:45am. I checked the speed of the vehicle with laser #9529 at 230ft at a speed of 40mph. I stopped the vehicle and identified myself to the driver Steven O Kuebler. I asked Kuebler if he was aware of the speed limit on W.S. Boundary he said "Ya it's 35mph". Kuebler was issued a citation for speed over posted limits B2ORC.
