Therefore, the undersigned hereby orders, pursuant to sections 61, 62, and 63 of The Municipalities Act, that: (a) the boundaries of the Village of Smeaton and the Rural Municipality of Torch River No. 488 be altered by withdrawing from the rural municipality and adding to the village the territory described in Schedule A; (b) Schedule B is conclusively deemed to be the legal description of the boundary of the Village of Smeaton; and (c) the alteration shall take effect on and from the date of this Order. 9 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, April 24, SCHEDULE A The boundaries of the Village of Smeaton are altered by adding to the Village and withdrawing from the Rural Municipality of Torch River No. 488 territory lying within: Township 52, Range 19, West of the Second Meridian and described as: (1) the following portions of the south west quarter of Section 18: (a) Parcel G shown on Plan No. CM4892; and (b) all of the Canadian Pacific Railway shown on Plan No. BD1828; and Township 52, Range 20, West of the Second Meridian and described as: (1) the following portions of the south east quarter of Section 13: (a) lying to the east of a line described as commencing at a point on the north boundary of Parcel B, Plan CI1892, metres westerly thereon from the north east corner thereof; thence northerly perpendicular to said north boundary of Parcel B, Plan CI1892, 68 metres; and (b) Parcel B as shown on Plan No. CI1892. SCHEDULE B The boundaries of the Village of Smeaton shall comprise the territory in the Province of Saskatchewan lying within: Township 52, Range 19, West of the Second Meridian and described as: (1) parts of Section 18 consisting of: (a) the following portions of the south west quarter: (i) all that portion lying west of the eastern boundary of Parcel H, Parcel G, Second Avenue South, Parcel F and Parcel C, all shown on Plan No. CM4892; and (ii) all of the Canadian Pacific Railway shown on Plan No. BD1828; (b) that portion of the north west quarter lying south and west of a line commencing at the intersection of the northern boundary of Third Avenue North with the western boundary of the said quarter section, thence easterly along the northern boundary of Third Avenue North to the north east corner thereof, thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the easterly lane adjacent to Third Avenue North, Block 6, Second Avenue North, Block 7, First Avenue North and Block 10, all shown on Plan No. CG3013, to the north west corner of Parcel D shown on Plan No. 86PA04115, thence easterly along the northern boundary of said Parcel D and the northern boundary of Parcel E to the eastern boundary of the said quarter section shown on Plan No. 87PA21156; (c) the most southerly metres in perpendicular width throughout the north east quarter; (2) that portion of road allowance and widening thereto adjoining the western boundary of Section 18 that is lying north of the westerly production of the northern boundary of Third Avenue North shown on Plan No. CG3013; and (3) the most southerly metres of the road allowance and widening thereto adjoining the western boundary of Section 19; and

Unless otherwise specified, the sections and portions of sections described in the above schedules include the adjoining south and west road allowances, intersections thereof and widenings thereto by plan of survey. For description purposes, the land acquired by plan of survey for widening to an adjoining road allowance is deemed to be part of the road allowance. The said plans of survey are of record with Information Services Corporation of Saskatchewan.
