8 80 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, january 20, 2012 Pursuant to section 35.1 of The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997, the Minister hereby orders: Effective 12:01 AM, January 10, 2012 and until further notice, Provincial Highway No (Mendham Access) from the intersection of Provincial Highway No. 21 westerly to the intersection with the north-south portion of the Municipal Alternate Truck Route at the NE corner of Section 10, Township 21, Range 27, West of the 3rd Meridian; Shall be restricted as follows: The maximum gross vehicle weight not to exceed kg ( lbs); The maximum gross weight on any axle not to exceed kg ( lbs). The restriction does not apply to: Emergency vehicles; Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure vehicles and municipal maintenance equipment when conducting maintenance or accessing sites on or along the restricted highway; SaskPower, SaskEnergy and SaskTel vehicles when accessing sites along the restricted route; Recreational vehicles; Buses; Farm Equipment operated or towed; Vehicles directly crossing Provincial Highway No (Mendham Access) at an intersecting public highway or private road. This Order is issued on a permanent basis and should not be confused with Spring Road Restriction Orders. The Municipalities Act [sections 53, 56, 57, 59, 61, 62 and 63 ] Alteration of boundaries between the town of CARROT RIVER AND THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF MOOSE RANGE NO Pursuant to sections 53, 56, 57, 59, and 61 of The Municipalities Act, the Council of the Town of Carrot River has submitted an application to alter its boundaries to the Minister of Municipal Affairs. 2 Upon consideration of the application, the Minister is of the opinion that the municipalities affected will be viable entities following the alteration of boundaries. Therefore, the undersigned hereby orders, pursuant to sections 61, 62, and 63 of The Municipalities Act, that: (a) the boundaries of the Town of Carrot River and the Rural Municipality of Moose Range No. 486 be altered by withdrawing from the rural municipality and adding to the town the territory described in Schedule A;

9 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, january 20, (b) Schedule B is conclusively deemed to be the legal description of the boundary of the Town of Carrot River; and (c) the alteration shall take effect on and from the date of this Order. Dated at the City of Regina, in the Province of Saskatchewan, the 21st day of December, Keith Comstock, Assistant Deputy Minister for and on behalf of the Minister of Municipal Affairs. schedule A The boundaries of the Town of Carrot River are altered by adding to the town and withdrawing from the Rural Municipality of Moose Range No. 486 the following lands, lying within Township 49, Range 11, West of the Second Meridian, described as the following portions of the north-east quarter of Section 31: (a) all of Parcel B, Plan in the north-east quarter of Section 31, excepting the area of land lying m in parallel width throughout to the west boundary of Parcel C, Plan 68PA04058; and (b) all of the drainage ditch lying south of Parcel E, Plan 84PA17071 and Parcel G, Plan Schedule B The boundaries of the Town of Carrot River shall comprise the territory in the Province of Saskatchewan lying within: Township 49, Range 11, West of the Second Meridian and described as: (a) all of the north-east quarter of Section 31, lying easterly of CNR Plan BF2888, except: Parcel B, Plan 61PA09207; that part of Parcel B, Plan lying m in parallel width throughout to the west boundary of Parcel C, Plan 68PA04058; Parcel C and Road, Plan 68PA04058; Parcel D and Road, Plan 68PA11257; and Road Plan 64PA06178; and (b) that portion of the north-west quarter of Section 32, shown as: (i) Parcel F, Plan 76PA04800; (ii) Parcel D, Plan 62PA14365; (iii) Block 41, Plans 96PA03539 and and; (iv) Parcel E, Plan 76PA Township 50, Range 11, West of the Second Meridian and described as: (a) the south-west quarter of Section 5; EXCEPTING Parcel G, Plan CI5849 and portion of Parcel H, Plan 77PA19977; (b) the most southerly m in perpendicular width throughout of the north-west quarter of Section 5; and (c) that portion of the south-east quarter of Section 6 lying east of the easterly limit of a surveyed drainage ditch shown on Plan 84PA Unless otherwise specified, the sections and portions of sections described in the above schedules include the adjoining south and west road allowances, intersections thereof and widenings thereto by plan of survey. For description purposes, the land acquired by plan of survey for widening to an adjoining road allowance is deemed to be part of the road allowance. The said plans of survey are of record with Information Services Corporation of Saskatchewan.

10 82 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, january 20, 2012 BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF SMEATON AND THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF TORCH RIVER NO Pursuant to sections 53, 56, 57, 59, and 61 of The Municipalities Act, the Council of the Village of Smeaton has submitted an application to alter its boundaries to the Minister of Municipal Affairs. 2 Upon consideration of the application, the Minister is of the opinion that the municipalities affected will be viable entities following the alteration of boundaries. Therefore, the undersigned hereby orders, pursuant to sections 61, 62, and 63 of The Municipalities Act, that: (a) the boundaries of the Village of Smeaton and the Rural Municipality of Torch River No. 488 be altered by withdrawing from the village and adding to the rural municipality the territory described in Schedule A; (b) Schedule B is conclusively deemed to be the legal description of the boundary of the Village of Smeaton; and (c) the alteration shall take effect on and from the date of this Order.
