In general terms, the purpose of Municipal Plan Amendment MP18-06 and Development Regulations Amendment DR18-06 is to add the animal use class under the Commercial Downtown policy (01) to consider animal use in the Downtown designation and to permit the kenneling of noncanine house pets within the Downtown Commercial Zone. The CORNER BROOK Municipal Plan Amendment MP18-06 and Development Regulations Amendment DR18-06 come into effect on the day that this notice is published in The Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette. Anyone who wishes to inspect a copy of the subject amendments may do so at City Hall, Corner Brook during normal business hours. In general terms, the purpose of Municipal Plan Amendment MP is to change the land use designation from Comprehensive Residential Development Area to Residential, and Development Regulation Amendment DR is to change the zoning from Comprehensive Residential Development Area to Residential Medium Density, for a portion of the lot situated at 18 Knight s Road. The changes will enable a single detached dwelling to be constructed utilizing existing services from Knights Road. The CORNER BROOK Municipal Plan Amendment MP18-07 and Development Regulations Amendment DR18-07 come into effect on the day that this notice is published in The Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette. 7 NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 64/18 Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit Regulations (Amendment) under the Income Tax Act, 2000 (O.C ) (Filed August 16, 2018) Under the authority of section 46.3 of the Income Tax Act, 2000, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations. 10 Teacher Certification Regulations (Amendment) 65/18 NLR1134/96 as amended 1. (1) Paragraph 2(1)(g) of the Teacher Certification Regulations is repealed and the following substituted: (g) "course" means, except in paragraph (i.1), a course of study at Memorial University or a course of study at another recognized educational institution that, in the opinion of the registrar, is equivalent to a course of Memorial University; (2) Subsection 2(1) of the regulations is amended by adding immediately after paragraph (i) the following: (i.1) "full time student" means a student enrolled in a minimum of 4 courses during a term or another minimum number of courses satisfactory to the registrar; (3) Subsection 2(1) of the regulations is amended by adding immediately after paragraph (m) the following: (m.1) "post secondary studies" means studies at the College of the North Atlantic or at another educational institution that, in the opinion of the registrar, is equivalent to the College of the North Atlantic; 2. The regulations are amended by adding immediately after section 14.1 the following: Teaching and learning assistant 14.2 (1) A level II certificate endorsed "Teaching and Learning Assistant" may be issued to an applicant who (a) has 20 credited courses satisfactory to the committee; or (b) has completed, as a full time student, a minimum of 2 years post secondary studies satisfactory to the committee. (2) A person who was issued a certificate under section 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 may be employed as a teaching and learning assistant and shall not be required to apply for a certificate referred to in subsection (1).
