Hamilton Hospital will be our guest speaker NEXT WEEKS MEETING THIS WEEKS MEETING NOTES Menu: Ham & Cheese Sandwich w/ Lettuce & Tomatoes, Homemade Vegetable Soup, Potato Chips, Fruit and Beverages GUESTS: Jim Adams invited Karol Wolf (she surprised hubby), Fred Couch and John Boyle FINES: All the people sitting at tables without any women. $1.00 each per person not per table HAPPY BUCKS: Jane Johnson happy that she was at Lake Cumberland for 5 days with wonderful family and friends. The lake was clear and the sun shined all day every day. Fun to watch all the kids enjoy tubbing, swimming and cliff jumping. Bill Merritt Sept. 8 th? was his separation from the Army. Steve Archdeacon - Said that Tennessee won their opening game. Steve s voice changed, little more southern, while giving his happy Tenn. buck!!! POTTO LOTTO: 1 st $ 5.00 winner Karol Wolf 2 nd winner Jack Keller and 3 rd winner guest Fred Couch. Congrats to all the winners! LATE FINE- It was brought up to Tim that last meeting we were told that Jack Keller forgot to mentor new Kiwanian George Liles rules of our club. Tim was kind enough to pay Jack s $1.00 fine. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Jill Gaynor the last 5 th Division meeting of the year will be tomorrow night, Thursday at Houstons in Mason sponsored by of course the Mason Club. We have 2 members going. Installation Wednesday, October 6 th at Colligan Lodge, 6:00 there will be no noon meeting. Signup sheet will be passed around soon. Please mark your calendar, we hope to have a large crowd that night. Invite your significant other or a friend. Dues- Secretary Jim Connaughton has been passing out the dues letters. As mentioned there is an increase this year. Dues for the year are $ Please give check to Jim or David Schul at next meeting. Jill Gaynor mentioned she has a new computer but still having trouble with s. If you need to contact her please call at Peanuts- Oh my I can t believe it is peanut time again!! John Danks, chairman of the committee mentioned he will have a sign- up sheet next week for the street sales which is Oct. 8, 9 & 10 th. There will be 2 locations the Kroger on Erie Hwy and Kroger on Main St. over

2 John also told us that we will be selling boxes of either, Regular peanuts 100 count - $40.00 a box, Regular peanuts 50 count $25.00 Honey roasted $40.00 a box Trail mix $ NEW ITEM THIS YEAR John mentioned that we all need to sell these peanuts, this is a good fundraiser. He is asking that we all sell at least 2 boxes and help with the street sales. Let s all help John and Committee with this the most profitable yet. For those of you that were not at the meeting, please note the attachments that John passed out at the meeting. If you have any questions regarding Peanut days, get in touch with John Danks.
