1 Acorn A s Our 47th Year The NutShell It s time for the annual picnic again and it s coming up on August 11. We will be taking a short tour to Diamantine Park on Woodland Ave. Those who want to tour over to the picnic, meet up at Creekside at 10:30 AM. We ll head over to our house where we can relax and enjoy each other s company. If you aren t interested in touring that Saturday, just head over to the house by 11 AM, Mona will be home cooking her Portuguese beans for the picnic. If you haven t signed up yet, give Mona or me a call at home and we will put you on the list. Don t forget we will still have the August 14 meeting. We don t want to miss seeing any Club members who can t make the picnic but want to participate in our own unique raffle. The August winner will have a 50/50 chance of winning. Not bad odds I sure hope to see everyone in August. We re half way through the year now and while we ve had many tours this is the perfect time to step forward and lead one. We have great weather, lots of locations we can tour to all the while enjoying the drive in our Model A. Mona is working on the Semi Freddie s tour and has given them three dates in August. If you re interested in touring Semi Freddie s then block out Aug 14, 17 or 24 th. As soon as we hear back from Semi Freddie s we will send out an to everyone. I hope to see everyone at the picnic August 11.
