I activated the radar unit #E22137 and it displayed 61mph. Calibration of the unit was checked at around 0010 hours and after the stop at approximately 0320 hours. I activated my emergency lights and initiated a traffic stop on the green Chevy (FBW5015). I identified the driver as Hannah Hall. I explained to Hall that I pulled her over for speeding and she apologized. Hall stated she was just eager to get back home to Toledo. Hall was issued a citation for Speed 61mph in a 35mph zone (ORC B3(MM)) and given a non-mandatory court date of February 26, 2013 at 4:45pm at Perrysburg Municipal Court. Boundary St, facing SB, I observed a white Nissan Versa (OH-FPF6951) traveling at what appeared to be a higher rate of speed than the posted speed limit of 25 mph. I activated radar unit (E22204) and a speed of 42 mph was detected. The speed increased from 42 mph to 43 mph and stopped at 44 mph. I initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Kaleene A. Hairabedian. Kaleene began to cry and stated she normally does not deliver and did not know the speed limit. I advised Kaleene she would be receiving a citation for speed and that I would follow her to her delivery. While explaining the citation to Kaleene she asked if I was allowed to sit with all of my lights off. I advised her I could. Kaleene again stated she did not know the speed limit and she normally does not deliver. I advised her of the speed limit signs on E. Boundary St. and that if she was unsure of the speed limit she needs to travel 25 mph until she sees a speed limit sign. Kaleene was advised to provide proof of insurance to the court. She was provided with a court date of Tuesday, February 26th at 5 pm.a calibration check was performed at approximately 1550 hrs and 2130 hrs was found to be working properly. 9 Through investigation, it was determined that 52 year-old Alejandro Ocana Gomez was operating his silver, 2004 Honda Civic eastbound on Roachton Road, west of Fort Meigs Road, when he passed a Perrysburg Schools bus (#26) that had stopped for purposes of boarding children. The bus driver reports his red lights were activated at the time of violation. Ocana was cited for failing to stop for the school bus ( ORC), and given a mandatory court date of 02/26/13.
