EVENTS Tradeshow This year s conference, Honour the Past; Embrace the Future the evolution of marketing research in Canada, will be held at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, in Montreal, Quebec from June 1st to 3rd,. Some of the highlights of the conference include: Beautiful exhibition space that is right in the heart of the action EXHIBIT IN THE MRIA? The tradeshow is the main gathering area for all delegates. Meals, parties, entertainment, and exclusive competitions will be held on the tradeshow floor for maximum exposure for our exhibitors. OFFICIAL OPENING Anticipating 400+ Exclusive trade show activities delegates in attendance Incredible Downtown Montreal venue PARTY June 1, Beginning at 5:30 p.m. The official opening party of the MRIA s National Conference will be held in the Exhibitor hall, right in the middle of the action! Last year s opening party boasted over 40 exhibitors, prizes, givaways, excellent food and drink, and of course, lots of delegates! The party gives delegates a chance to explore the tradeshow and get to know the exhibitors before the conference begins. It s a great place to mingle, make new friends and collect business leads. Tradeshow Bingo is a great way to get delegates involved with your organization. Each delegate is given a bingo card which coordinates with the tradeshow floor. All tradeshow exhibitors will be provided with a distinct bingo stamp. To be eligible for the grand prize, delegates must visit each booth and complete their cards. Prize draw at the June 3rd closing. Elevator Pitch Competition The Elevator Pitch Competition is a Tradeshow Event open to exhibitors exclusively. Tradeshow exhibitors can send a registered exhibitor to compete for the ultimate prize: 15 MINUTES TO PRESENT TO THE ENTIRE CONFERENCE ON ANY TOPIC OF YOUR CHOICE The competition will take place on June 2nd, and the winner will present on June 3rd. Each competitor will have 90 seconds to pitch to the judges no visual aids, just you and your power of persuasion. The winner will be announced at the Gala Awards dinner on June 2nd. Wheel of Opportunity! Spin to Win! This year, delegates will get the chance to Spin the Wheel of Opportunity and win great prizes! The wheel will have all exhibitor booth numbers on it. If the wheel stops on your booth, you both win! To collect their prize, delegates will visit your booth, giving you the opportunity to talk one-on-one with delegates and show off your stuff! Wheel of Opportunity prizes are to be supplied by exhibitors.

Assignment of Space Booths are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Location assignment is at the discretion of the tradeshow manager. No tradeshow participant shall transfer, assign, sell or barter assigned space. WHATIS AN PASS? Each booth comes with one exhibitor pass. An exhibitor pass gives a Tradeshow Exhibitor full access to the tradeshow area and includes all provided breakfasts, lunches, breaks, and the Welcome Reception! Exhibitors will be able to upgrade to a full conference pass for a discounted rate to gain access to the conference speakers, keynote sessions and social events.
