4 Wednesday, April 24, 2013 Technical Workshop: Detection-Control System 1:00 PM 5:00 PM Detection-Control System (D CS) is a dilemma zone protection technology developed by the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) for isolated, rural, high speed signalized intersections. Technical Tour: Bay Bridge Tour 1:00 PM 4:00 PM The tour of the Bay Bridge will begin at the Bay Bridge Police Headquarters Building, 881 Oceanic Drive, Annapolis, MD (Shuttle from the hotel). We will also, weather permitting, walk down to the dry-dock area for a view of the underside of the bridge and some of the equipment used for maintenance. Friday, April 26, 2013 Technical Tour: Harbor Queen Boat Tour 1:00 PM 2:00 PM Annapolis Harbor and United States Naval Academy Cruise aboard Harbor Queen. A must-do Annapolis activity! Step aboard Harbor Queen for a narrated cruise of historic Annapolis Harbor and the banks of the U.S. Naval Academy. Enjoy getting on the water and catching a glimpse of the Bay Bridges. This 40-minute cruise is the perfect introduction to Annapolis. A hotel shuttle with limited space will be provided for transportation. Mobley was appointed byy Governor Martin O Malley to servee as Actingg Secretary of the Maryland Department of o Transportation (MDOT) effective August 1, As Acting Transportation Secretary, hee oversees a $3.6 billion annual budget andd 10,000-employee department. He has beenn the Deputy Transportation Secretary since thee Governor s initial appointment in January He also served as the Interim State Highwayy Administrator in Acting Transportation Secretary Maryland Department of Transportation Darrell B. Moble ey Earlier in his career, Mr. Mobley was thee State Highway Administrations District Engineer for Prince George s and Montgomery counties where he oversaw an estimated annual capital expenditures budget of $250 million andd provided leadership and direction to a workforce of approximately 500 state andd contractual employees. A native of Baltimore, he has more thann 23 years off public and private sector experience combined. Mr. Mobley has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering fromm the University of Delaware and has twoo Associate Degrees, one in Constructionn Management and the other in Land Surveyingg Technology. ~ 5 ~

Donaldson Gene started his public service career inn as a cartographic technician with thee Army Map Service, in 1970 accepted a drafter position with Montgomery County Marylandd Government where 27 years later retired as Chief of the Transportation Management Section. In 1997 Gene joined the Delawaree Department of Transportation to manage thee planning, development and implementation of o DelDOT s transportation management program. Gene is a past president of the Washingtonn D.C. section of ITE and a past president of ITEE District 2. Gene and his wife, Lynda, reside inn Fenwick Island, Delaware. ~ 6 ~
