Our September meeting at the Engineer s club had 90 members in attendance and a fantastic program. A big thank you to our Sponsor Kibart and their colleagues from the Maryland Department of General Services as well as CPF Underground Utilities who provided a superb example of best practices for design and construction on a very challenging project - the overhaul of the Lawyer Mall and Bladen Street steam piping is Annapolis. We would also like to thank MD DGS for their tech session presentation of changes and improvements to the MDOT and DGS procurement and RFP process. As always, PDH certificates were available for both presentations. Before last month s meeting the chapter board of governors and many of the committee chairs participated in training for continual improvement of our website. Please check regularly for website updates and share the Thermogram link if you become aware of someone who did not have receive it. I would also like to remind everyone that tickets are on sale for our annual Christmas Party November 30th, 5-9pm Timonium Fairgrounds 4h Building. This will be our 69th Annual Christmas party and we are expecting over 1600 people again this year. We are also looking forward to our upcoming product show on October 4th. The product show returns to M&T bank stadium and we are looking forward to seeing everyone there. We are expecting even more people than last year and will have at least 16 vendors in attendance. If you are interested in being a last minute vendor, fret not, we still have a few spaces available and would welcome your sponsorship. Please contact Steph Kunkel: vp@ashrae-balto.com for more information. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. As always, if you are joining us for an ASHRAE event please make an effort to bring a new or inactive member with you to the meeting. It is the continuing participation of the membership that keeps our chapter as strong as it is. ASHRAE Baltimore Chapter President 2018/19
