3 e.pricing INFO EPG Worldspan e-pricing SM is a multi-server based technology for Worldspan Fares and Pricing products, offering more itinerary choices for qualified Power Shopper requests. In today's environment, Worldspan's e-pricing SM raises the quality of fare and flight availability to heights never reached before. Built to accommodate choice, this powerful pricing engine searches millions of fares and thousands of possible itinerary options. e-pricing SM enables travel agencies, web-based travel sites, airlines and others to offer consumers a greater selection of flight and fare options. By developing a pricing system on a non-mainframe platform, Worldspan expects to manage anticipated growth for shopper type queries while containing costs and meeting market demand for a greater number of choices. Worldspan e.pricing suite consists of: Power Pricing A method of obtaining low fare alternates for a booked domestic or international itinerary Power Shopper Will search for low fare alternates for a domestic or international trip from a streamlined entry Power Flight Search A low fare search tool that identifies availability based on fares filed for a given city pair Flex One Day Searches for plus/minus 1 day for both the departure and return dates Flex More Days Searches for plus/minus up to 3 days before and after both the departure and return dates Flex Airports Searches for up to 6 unique departure and return airports Flex O and D Searches for alternate airports (within 100 mile/160 (Origin and km radius) Destination) Flex Weekend Searches for departures on Thursday/Friday and Saturday with returns on Sunday/Monday and Tuesday The Flex Products are individual entries, and may not be combined with each other, however the entries can be combined with other Power Shopper options. 1

4 e.pricing INFO EPG Features of e.pricing: Up to a maximum of four Passenger Type Codes One-way and simple round-trips on all Flex Products (except Flex Weekend which will price round trips only) Open jaws on Power Pricing, Power Shopper, Flex One Day and Flex More Days Economy, Business and First class travel Securate Air Private (Category 15 filed fares via ATPCO) Fare by Rule (Category 25 processing) Net Fares (Category 35 processing) Supports private, negotiated fares (SecuRate Air Plus, SecuRate ATPCO) It is possible for a double connection to have a lower price than a direct flight selection. To determine further low fare alternatives use the continuation entry ($P*MX X= alternative number) so all possible available flights are considered. The continuation entry ($P*MX X= alternative number) obtains a greater selection of itinerary solutions based on a specific board and off point. Any parameter specified in the initial Flex One Day entry is retained in the continuation entry. e.pricing is 100% message supported (XML Pro and DIR) 2

7 POWER PRICING HELP 4PLI INFO 4PLI Power Pricing uses a single entry to find the lowest available fare from a domestic or international, booked itinerary. It concurrently searches fares, rules, and availability to determine whether alternate carriers or routes provide lower priced itineraries. Within seconds, up to four lower fare itineraries are displayed. This process offers numerous search options and can be handled during the original booking. Rebooking takes only a single keystroke. Adding key to the Power Pricing entry and optional entries will ensure Worldspan checks last seat availability For AccessPlus airlines. A Flex One Day price request provides available low fare alternatives for: - The date requested - One day before the requested departure and/or return dates - One day after the requested departure and/or return dates, - A combination of all three options. This option provides the ability to return to the initial Flex display after displaying an alternate itinerary or requesting a continuation display. Flex More Days offers pricing solutions for zero, one, two or three days prior to and/or after the requested departure date, return date or both. Function ID Options #/FD Plus and minus on departure #/FR Plus and minus on return #/FB Plus and minus for departure and return Flex More Days allows the option of specifying a number of days before the requested departure and or return date and a different number of days after the departure and or return date. Flex More Days is an expansion of Flex One Day with all the capabilities such as the continuation entry ($P*M3) the order of itinerary sorts, premium processing and redisplay. The Flex More Days option can be used in one way or simple round trip and open jaw requests. 16 FLEX AIRPORTS HELP FLEX AIRPORT INFO FLEX AIRPORT Flex Airports is applicable to Tier 2 & 3 only. A Flex Airport request provides available low fare alternatives for up to six airports for the board point and off point on the date requested. The function identifier of a period (.) must precede and follow the Flex Airport (airport or city code) in the power shopper entry. A slash (/) is used to separate airport codes or cities. Entry: $P10MAYLON.PAR/AMS/NAP/ROM./R20MAY The Flex Airports option can be used in one way or simple round trip requests. Each itinerary solution uses the same board/off points. Open jaw solutions are not created. The number of pricing solutions returned is based on the tier level. The single, available low fare alternatives for each point requested, is displayed. When a city is specified with the Flex Airports option, and there are multiple airports for that city (e.g. CHI, NYC), all airports for that city are considered. If an airport code is specified in the entry, that airport code is used for departure and arrival. Using the change after the city code considers flights to all airports defined by the city code. It is possible, when selecting flights for low fare alternatives, a double connection can be selected over a direct flight. In order to determine the best possible flight for low fare alternatives, the continuation entry ($P*M5, 5= alternative number five, from the displayed list of alternatives) must be used, for specific alternative so all available flights are considered. 14

18 FLEX ORIGIN AND DESTINATION (FLEX O AND D) HELP FLEX ORIGIN Flex Origin and Destination is applicable to Tier 2 & 3 only. Flex Origin and Destination will search for alternative airports within a radius of up to 100 miles (160 kilometers) Function ID Options #/RD-xxx Radius Departure #/RA-xxx Radius Arrival #/RB-xxx Radius Both departure and arrival xxx Number of miles/kilometers to search A maximum of 100 miles (or 160 kilometers) are permitted for Flex O and D pricing. Only airport codes are allowed in Flex O and D pricing requests, not city codes. The Multiple Airport option (#M) cannot be used with the Flex O and D entries. A maximum of six airports can be considered for either board and/or off points based on radius specified. When more than six airports are found within the radius specified the closest six airports to the point specified are selected. Only commercially served airports are considered. Decimals are not permitted to specify miles or kilometers. A minimum of one numeric must be specified after the Flex O and D pricing field identifier When specifying Flex O and D pricing an M (miles) or K (kilometers) may follow the distance. If no alpha character is specified distance in miles is assumed. When the Flex O and D pricing option is used, each itinerary solution is built with the same board/off points. Open jaw itineraries are not created. 16

20 FLEX WEEKEND HELP FLEX WEEKEND INFO FLEX WEEKEND Flex Weekend is applicable to Tier 3 only. The Flex Weekend provides single entry searches for weekend trips. Departures, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and returns Sunday, Monday Tuesday for an entire month. Function ID Options- #/FWKD #/FWKD*P Specific departure date is used to identify the desired month. The actual date is ignored. A return date is not permitted. When a weekend falls between two months the request should be made using the beginning of that weekend for example, Sep/Oct06 the weekend of Sep displays when requesting Flex Weekend for September but is not included if the request is made for October. This power shopper option returns available low fare alternatives for each date combination for the specified month. The pricing solutions display in chronological order from low pricing solution to the high pricing solution. It is possible for a double connection to have a lower price than a direct flight selection. To determine the best possible flights for available low fares the continuation entry ($P*M2) should be entered so all possible available flights are considered. 18
