SALES REPORT Our Lady of Fatima Society raised $ on their sale of Donuts and Sweet Portuguese Bread last weekend. All the proceeds are going to support the Feast Celebration for Our Lady of Fatima. Thank you for supporting this Ministry. TAMALES SALE Mr. Adan Avila is having a delicious tamales sale next weekend, on February 23-24, 2019, after all the Masses. All proceeds will be donated to St. Frances of Rome Parish. STEAK AND OYSTER DINNER Dinner will be on Friday, March 1, 2019 Social hour at 6:00 P.M. Dinner at 7:00 P.M. Bishop s Ministry Appeal 2019 The theme this year is: As One, Serving the Lord Dear Parishioners, I want to thank all those who participated in our BMA last year. The Parish will be receiving $18, from the 2018 BMA. This is the amount that exceeded our Parish Goal, thanks for your generosity. In August 2018, the Parish spent $14, to seal coat and re-stripe the church parking lot. This amount was paid with $8, of the BMA excess parish goal funds from The remaining balance, $5,720.00, was paid using part of the 2018 BMA excess parish goal funds. (All excess funds above the parish goal is returned to our parish for our needs.) The remaining amount of the 2018 BMA, $12,469.00, will be used for partial payment of the second major project on our list; painting the inside of the church. The estimated total cost for that project is $24, The Our Lady of Fatima Society generously donated $10, to help pay for this project. The Bishop s Ministry Appeal helps sustain parish programs and ministries in the Diocese of Stockton. Once a year, Catholics throughout the Diocese of Stockton are asked to support these ministries by giving to the Bishop s Ministry Appeal Trust. This support plays a key role in advancing the mission of the Church both within and beyond the boundaries of our parishes. The Bishop s Ministry Appeal Weekend is next weekend. Please prayerfully consider your gift to the Bishop s Ministry Appeal. This year, our Parish Goal is $46, That will help the Diocese to continue to provide valuable programs and services from which we all benefit. Those of you who gave last year will receive a letter from Bishop Cotta introducing the Appeal. Participation by everyone is important. We hope that all of you will be able to give something this year. This year we will be asking for $20, above our BMA amount for the different parish projects and repairs. Therefore, in order to meet our Parish Goal, we are requesting $65.00 per adult this year. Please consider being as generous as you can. Solicitud Ministerial del Obispo 2019 El tema de este año es: "Como Uno, Sirviendo al Señor" Queridos Feligreses, Quiero agradecer a todos los que participaron en nuestro BMA el año pasado. La Parroquia recibirá $18, del BMA Esta es la cantidad que excedió nuestra Meta Parroquial, gracias a su generosidad. El año pasado, en agosto del 2018, la Parroquia gastó $14, para sellar y volver a marcar el estacionamiento de la Iglesia. Este costo se pagó utilizando $8,780.00, que fue la cantidad que recibimos del BMA del El costo restante, $5,720.00, se pagó utilizando parte de lo que recibimos del BMA del La cantidad restante del BMA 2018 es de $12, Esta cantidad se utilizará para pagar los gastos por pintar el interior de la iglesia. El costo estimado por pintar el interior de la iglesia es de $24, También, el año pasado, la Sociedad de Nuestra Señora de Fátima donó generosamente $10, para ayudar a pagar con este proyecto. La Solicitud Ministerial del Obispo ayuda a sostener las parroquias, los programas, y los ministerios de la Diócesis de Stockton. Una vez al año, a los católicos de toda la Diócesis de Stockton se les pide que apoyen estos ministerios mediante una donación al Fondo de la Solicitud Ministerial del Obispo. Su apoyo juega un papel clave en el avance de la misión de la Iglesia dentro y fuera de los límites de las parroquias. El fin de semana de la Campaña del Obispo es la próxima semana.
