PARISH MISSION STATEMENT Saint Ladislaus Parish is a Roman Catholic Christian community which has preserved our heritage and culture since As we proceed into the future, we will strive to reach out and welcome our neighbors to become a part of our parish community through worship and spiritual support. SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE Arrangements should be made at least 6 months in advance. Couples must schedule an appointment with the pastor prior to scheduling a wedding. All couples are required to attend a Diocesan Marriage Preparation Course. SACRAMENT OF PENANCE Saturday afternoon from 2:30 to 3:30 pm or by appointment in the Church office. PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK Contact the rectory if you know a parishioner who is in the hospital, nursing home or is homebound and would like to receive communion and/or a visit from a priest. Due to new regulations procedures, patient information is strictly regulated. NEW REGISTRATIONS You can register by calling the rectory and coming in to fill out the Census Card. You must provide copies of your most recent Sacrament certificates (Baptism, Communion, etc) for each member of the family. May they rest in peace, through the mercy of God. 3pm Sunday, June 3 The Feast of Corpus Christi Bishop Caggiano to Lead Procession Join in processing out onto the road as we witness our faith in the Eucharistic Lord. 1.6 mile Procession from St. Matthew to NCC and back. Handicapped accommodations available. This event is centered on the Eucharist and focused on prayer. Choir members will sing and parishioners will participate in Adoration and prayer. Families are encouraged to attend, especially Confirmation Candidates and First Communicants, as well as everyone in the parish. Pizza to follow the Procession! May 13th 13 de Mayo In celebration Pentecost, we will have our Vigil on Saturday, May 19th from 7:30pm to 12:00mid. BAPTISMS AND PRE-BAPTISMAL CLASS The next scheduled day for Baptisms is June 17, 2018 at 1:45 pm. The prebaptismal class is on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 5:30 pm in the Church Basement. JOSEPH PRAYER GROUP Everyone who is interested in joining a prayer group is welcome to come on Fridays at 8:00 pm to the basement of the Church. We share in prayer; charismatic music, and discuss important matters of our spiritual and cultural life. THE 2018 ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL Elementary Formation supports parish, school and all sacramental Catechetical programs that provide religious formation for children ages 5 13 and their families. We also provide assistance, direction and ongoing training for Catechetical leaders and pastors responsible for directing parish elementary Catechesis. This is done through days of formation, parish visits, program assessments and ongoing consultation of catechetical programs from development to implementation including assisting with Catechist selection, training and certification. Our Parish s goal for the campaign this year is $16, To date, our Parish has raised 32 gifts worth 4, from 30 donors, bringing the parish to 27% of its goal. Remember there are many ways to make your pledge including online and via text! Thank you for your generosity! GRUPO DE ORACION SAN JOSE Todas aquellas personas que deseen participar en un grupo de oración y alabanza los invitamos a que se unan a nuestro grupo San José todos los viernes a partir de las 8:00 pm en el sótano de nuestra Iglesia. Nuestro objetivo es el de reunirnos para dar gracias a Dios, rezar la Coronilla de la Misericordia, alabar, compartir la Palabra y desarrollar un tema durante cada encuentro. El Padre Juan Gabriel nos acompaña como coordinador espiritual, y también participan algunos Sacerdotes invitados. Los esperamos! GRUPO JUVENIL Los esperamos todos los Miércoles a partir de las 7:00 pm en el sótano de la Iglesia. Este grupo esta abierto para jóvenes de High School. CAMPAÑA CATOLICA ANNUAL 2018 La formación sacramental para la primaria respalda a las parroquia, la escuelas, y todos los programas de catequesis sacramentales que brindan formación religiosa para niños de 5 a 13 años. También proporcionamos asistencia, dirección y capacitación continua para los líderes y pastores de Catequesis responsables de dirigir la educación religiosa de la parroquia. Esto se hace a través de días de formación, visitas parroquiales, evaluación y consulta contínua de programas; el desarrollo e implementación de los mismos, y la ayuda en la selección, capacitación y certificación de catequistas. Hasta la fecha nuestra Parroquia ha recaudado donaciones por un valor total de 4,320.00, lo que equivale a 27% de nuestra meta. GRACIAS POR SU GENEROSIDAD! Si ud desea y puede colaborar con nuestra campaña por lo que resta del 2018 (30 semanas), considere que sólo una pequeña cantidad semanal por familia sería una gran ayuda adicional para llegar a nuestra meta.
