3 WELCOME TO THE 340 & 2000 GLOBAL OPERATORS CONFERENCE 2018 Saab and Jetstream Aviation Capital hope that you are looking forward to the Saab 340 & 2000 Global Operators Conference November in Miami Beach. If you have not already registered, you really should be heading over to saab.com/goc for more information and registration. AGENDAS In this document you will see agendas for the various sessions. There may still be some changes, especially regarding timings/order within the individual sessions. Dinners The original plan was for Saab and Jetstream to host one dinner each at the Eden Roc, but after listening to attendee feedback we have decided to join forces and host one Saab & Jetstream dinner Wednesday November 28. This allows you to sample what Miami has to offer on the Tuesday and Thursday. HOTEL BOOKING Make sure to book your hotel room no later than NOVEMBER 9, or you will not be guaranteed the conference rate of $209 + tax (resort fee included). SPOUSE PROGRAM The spouse program is open to all accompanying spouses. At registration, a wrist band will be distributed that must be worn to access all activities. GOLF We have changed the setup of the golf from a Friday tournament to a golf outing at your pleasure. Login to your regonline account and purchase a Golf Voucher. At the registration desk you will then receive a voucher that you can use once during the week at the Miami Beach Golf Club course. This includes greenfee, golf cart, Lunch from regular menu and two drink tickets. Jetstream Aviation Capital sponsor this package, which provides almost a $200 value for which you only pay $75 per person. If you need to rent clubs, this will be paid individually by the player. Each player to call and set up their own tee time and arrange transportation. The Miami Beach golf course is only 10 minutes from the hotel by taxi/über. GROUND TRANSPORTATION There is no viable public transport alternatives from Miami International to the Eden Roc. Taxi fares are $35- $45 and there is always the option to use Über. If you rent a car, the hotel offers valet parking. There is also a public parking lot next to the hotel. ISC = Industry Steering Committee It is the function of the ISC, under the direction of an operator appointed chairman to develop and establish policies for the development and continued evaluation of the Maintenance Program and participate in the review and approval process of the ISC. The ISC meeting is where operators can influence how support issues should be prioritized, so take this opportunity to make your voice heard. Operational Meeting Often called the Pilots meeting. This is where operational aspects of the aircraft are discussed, such as changes in the AFM/AOM/MMEL and reported occurrencies/investigations. ISC meetings are open to all operators (only active members have voting rights)
