We re here to inspire, transform and get the best out of teams; making people feel valued and then some! 150 acres, 5 venues, 3 event fields 1 GARLANDS CORPORATE Garlands Corporate designs, delivers and manages events for clients at Mythe Barn, Mythe Farm and many other UK venues. It also provides a wide range of team building and team development programmes and activity days. The Garland family have been managing and working Mythe Farm since the 1950 s and are involved in everything that happens. Records for the farm go back to the 14 th Century and it has a strong association with King Richard and the Battle of Bosworth in Located in the heart of the Midlands Within easy reach of major transport links our idyllic countryside location is just 30 minutes from Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham and Leicester. The M69, M1, M42 and A5 are all just a few minutes away, with Atherstone and Nuneaton train stations close by providing fast rail links to London and Birmingham. Conferencing for 200 delegates Team development and team building Outdoor and indoor activities Outdoor Activities In 2004 Garlands first offered motor and target sports, team building and team development to the corporate and private sectors and now have an array of activities and team building exercises to offer clients. Team Building and Team Development For the last decade experienced Garlands event managers have collaborated with team leaders, sales and marketing teams, HR and training managers to deliver team building events that really motivate teams. We develop businesses and people by designing bespoke behavioural change and development programmes and include the use of psychometrics tools such as the MBTI Instrument and other team profiling tools where required. Indoor Event Spaces Mythe Barn is located on Mythe Farm and was converted in 2012 creating a stylish venue for conferences and events. Mythe Barn lends itself to special events where the brief is for delegates and guests to feel valued. In 2015, additional meeting and event facilities were completed including the Orchard Suite and Pavilion Marquee alongside the refurbishment of the expansive Warehouse event space. Outdoor Event Facilities Three large, flexible event fields are available for marquees, tipis and a wide range of outdoor events and the 4x4 course is ideal for off road vehicle launches and promotional events. Outstanding catering 3 Accommodation In 2014 the courtyard accommodation was created by converting a traditional brick barn providing 7 individually styled bedrooms in addition to the Executive Suite within Mythe Barn.

5 CONFERENCES AND EVENTS The range and versatility of the indoor and outdoor spaces at Mythe Farm offers the prospect of imaginative events and memorable experiences. Conferences and celebration events, product launches and fashion shows are all ideally suited to Mythe Barn. It is available on an exclusive use basis only and includes the barns, car park, courtyard and surrounding gardens. The three event fields are large enough to accommodate a variety of structures and marquees, glamping fields, corporate mini Glastonbury festivals, family fun days and much more. The Warehouse and Pavilion Marquee are vehicle accessible and can be used for a range of events including exhibitions, conferences, meetings, product launches and celebratory events to name a few. These blank canvas spaces have been used to great effect by many clients. The Lodge and Orchard Suite are suited to stand-alone meetings and are also perfectly located to combine with our outdoor activities. Catering Galloping Gourmet provides outstanding service and support for all events at Mythe Barn. Their philosophy is to provide high quality, fresh food using local produce wherever possible. For all other non-barn events we can offer a range of menus to suit your audience using our event caterers. With so many combinations for using the spaces at Mythe Farm for your event; the only limit is your imagination. 5

9 MYTHE BARN OVERVIEW A combination of rustic charm and contemporary design, Mythe Barn is a premium, exclusive venue. Located at the end of a long tarmac drive, the barn has commanding countryside views and dedicated parking. The Grain Store is vehicle accessible making it ideal for luxury vehicle launches and press events. Tall ceilings and full height windows in the main areas fill the barn with light and the elegant lighting is dimmable to create the perfect atmosphere for evening events. The two main indoor event rooms, The Grain Store and The Oak Barn, along with the charming courtyard are accessed off the reception and bar area. The beautifully maintained gardens lead from the car park to the main entrance and also surround The Grain Store. The Oak Barn looks out onto a large post and rail fenced paddock with countryside views beyond. PERFECT FOR MAKING PEOPLE FEEL VALUED On the first floor is the Executive suite, spacious and luxurious accommodation which boasts a roll top bath and private balcony. The Executive suite can be used as an additional meeting room or breakout space if required. The minstrel gallery at the back of the Oak Barn is a beautiful feature and offers a revealing perspective for events. With its oak frame, high ceilings and abundance of daylight, Mythe Barn is arguably one of the most inspirational venues in the Midlands. Exclusive use of Mythe Barn includes the car park, barn complex, the courtyard and surrounding gardens. 11 MYTHE BARN CART BARN The Cart Barn is the hub of the barn. The Oak Barn, The Grain Store and The Courtyard are all accessed from the Cart Barn which is ideally placed for registration, reception, refreshments, arrival drinks and informal breakout spaces. The Cart Barn has a licensed bar and full height doors and windows. GREAT FOR DRINKS RECEPTIONS 11

12 MYTHE BARN OAK BARN Light, airy and full of character, The Oak Barn has been used for conferences, meetings, exhibitions and many other types of event. This barn has doors that lead out to the patio, paddock and Cart Barn. It has a minstrel gallery at the back of the room, dimmable lighting, underfloor heating, air conditioning and a stunning oak frame. IDEAL FOR CONFERENCES 12

13 MYTHE BARN GRAIN STORE The Grain Store is the largest of the spaces within Mythe Barn and can seat up to 200 delegates in a theatre style. The room is also vehicle accessible, providing a huge amount of possibilities for events. FABULOUS FOR AUTOMOTIVE EVENTS Clad in larch wood with six sets of glazed double doors opening directly into the beautiful garden with far reaching countryside views and internal doors leading into the Cart Barn. With three impressive chandeliers, the Grain Store is fully air conditioned for the comfort of your guests. 13

14 MYTHE BARN COURTYARD Accessed from The Cart Barn, the enclosed Courtyard is a convivial outdoor space used for breakouts, barbecues, activities and product launches for up to 200 guests. With its sympathetic mixed flower borders, barbecue, seating and atmospheric evening lighting this versatile space is perfect for informal networking or can form part of the show piece. The courtyard is vehicle accessible making it ideal for showcasing vehicles, large scale machinery, building materials and additional event marquees. GREAT FOR DRINKS AND A BARBEQUE There are seven bedrooms situated in the courtyard which can be booked with Mythe Barn (image below pre development of courtyard bedrooms).

15 A choice of four meeting and training spaces are available at Mythe Farm including The Lodge, The Orchard Suite, The Pavilion and The Warehouse. All have free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee stations, presentation screens and flipcharts where required. Located at the centre of the Farm, the meeting and training spaces are near to event fields to ensure the smooth running of the day when combined with activities. MYTHE FARM MEETING & EVENT SPACES The Orchard Suite and Lodge have verandas that can be used for serving breakfast rolls, barbecues and buffet lunches. The rustic yet contemporary Orchard Suite has a training room adjoining a marquee offering a versatile space for team development events where a training space is required alongside a covered challenge / exercise area. The Lodge The Pavilion Marquee is a semi-permanent structure, light and airy for informal meetings, product launches or exhibition space that can hold up to 100 delegates. The Warehouse is a newly refurbished substantial blank canvas permanent space with a 4.3m roller shutter door and three phase power. Suitable for draping and theming for exhibitions, product launches, fashion shows, conferences and large scale interventions this space can be turned into anything you want. 16 MYTHE FARM THE ORCHARD SUITE The Orchard Suite has a number of features that can be utilised for your event including the indoor marquee as an additional space for breakouts, lunch or the tea and coffee station. The terrace can be used for barbecues or as another breakout space. Located near to the activity sites, this is an ideal space for mixing business with pleasure, combining meetings with team building activities all in one day. 17 MYTHEFARM THE LODGE The Lodge is an ideal base for meeting and activity days. Accommodating up to 24 delegates, The Lodge has a built-in LCD screen for presentations. Close to where many of the activities take place, The Lodge can be used as the base for corporate team events and team development programmes. The large veranda and outdoor seating area can be used for additional breakout space or to enjoy a lunchtime barbecue. MYTHE FARM THE PAVILION MARQUEE An ideal space for larger meetings of delegates around tables or up to 100 theatrestyle, the Pavilion is equipped with two LCD screens that can be viewed from any position. A versatile blank canvas structure full of light for informal meetings, presentations or even vehicle launches. With full height windows to the front and sides, the Pavilion has a relaxed, airy feel to it. With 100m 2 to utilise, this dynamic space can work with your vision. 18 MYTHE FARM THE WAREHOUSE Our 378m² Warehouse is ideal for exhibitions and product launches for up to 345 people. With vehicular access (4.3m roller shutter door), 3-phase power and an idyllic setting adjacent to event field 2, this is the perfect space to create a truly unique event. 19 The surrounding event fields lend themselves to a variety of corporate events using Tipis, Glamping Tents, Marquees, DuoSpan or similar structures to define your event, festival or family fun day. Combined with any or all of the other Mythe Farm spaces, there is plenty of scope for events on our 150 acre site. MYTHE FARM OUTDOOR FACILITIES Access to all areas is by gravelled trackways, allowing for easy and convenient set up for your event and peace of mind for packing up afterwards. All our event fields have access to power and water supplies. Event Fields 1 and 2 are suitable for family fun days, festival style events, motor and target sports or as overspill parking. Event Field 3 can be used in conjunction with an event where Mythe Barn has been booked. It could be used as an event field for family fun style events, additional outdoor celebration space, overspill parking, additional event catering such as street style food and outdoor activities. 22 MYTHE FARM 4x4 OFF ROAD TRACK Our on-site off road track has a number of obstacles, gradients and terrains to test and display the abilities of 4x4 vehicles. This can only be used as part of an event. 22

24 CATERING MYTHE BARN Galloping Gourmet provides outstanding service and support for all events at Mythe Barn. Their professional and experienced event management team maintain our high standards throughout the event process. Formed in 1993, their philosophy is to provide high quality, fresh food using local produce wherever possible. A high calibre, restaurant trained chef team, are always on hand throughout to help plan the menu to suit your individual tastes or you can choose from a wide selection of menus written by their Michelin Starred Head Chef. With professional front of house management to co-ordinate the service and a thoroughly trained waiting team, we will ensure your delegates want for nothing during your event. MYTHE FARM For all other non-mythe Barn events we can provide a range of menus to suit your budget and audience using our high quality contract caterers. Providing the same high standards and quality of service expected at Mythe Farm, we can offer a variety of menus and options to suit your budget and audience. 24

25 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What parking facilities are available? Mythe Barn has exclusive parking for 60 cars on hardstanding, with overspill parking for 120 cars in event field #3. Mythe Farm has parking for over 50 cars on hardstanding in three areas, with overspill parking for over 200 cars in event field #2 for large events. There is space available for multiple coach parking. What are the shipping details? All deliveries to events should be clearly marked with the following: Company organiser/client s name Name of the event and event date C/O Garlands Corporate, Mythe Farm, Pinwall Lane, Sheepy Magna, Atherstone, CV9 3PF Garlands Corporate does not accept deliveries before the event date unless arranged with your event manager in advance. Garlands Corporate accepts no liability for deliveries or goods left on the premises. Clients do so at their own risk. Is there disabled access? Mythe Barn, the Warehouse, Pavilion Marquee, Orchard Suite and all Event Fields are accessible. The Lodge has three steps onto the veranda. Is there Wi-Fi? We have Wi-Fi access up to 3.5mB in all spaces and up to 15mB if required. Can we bring in our own caterers? External caterers can be brought in for any events in spaces other than at Mythe Barn. For any catering required at Mythe Barn Galloping Gourmet will provide the catering. All other spaces are open to outside caterers. Please discuss this with your event manager. What services can Garlands Corporate offer? Garlands Corporate can offer: A full event management service with a dedicated event manager for each event. Facilitation and programme design for leadership, team and business development. Psychometric profiling including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Belbin Team Roles and Strength Deployment Inventory. Production Services available from selected AV suppliers. Partners and supplier links. Full catering and bar service. Blank canvas indoor and outdoor event facilities with event manager liaison. What in-house AV can you provide? Mythe Barn has a built in sound system with wireless microphones. We can also provide projections, screens and sound to all spaces. 25

26 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What is the earliest time we can access the venue? All spaces can be available from 0700 hrs. To find out more about costs and access outside of the normal contracted hours, please speak to your event manager. What entrance can events use? There is a single entrance to both Mythe Barn and Mythe Farm off Pinwall Lane. Signs direct vehicles to Mythe Barn and Mythe Farm from this entrance. Once on-site, vehicles will be directed to the correct parking area for that event. Can we use our own photographer, entertainment or musician? Musicians, photographers and entertainers are welcome. They must be fully licensed and insured with PAT tested electronic equipment. Can we use a haze machine? Yes, as long as we know in advance the model to be used. Can we view the facilities before making a booking? Yes and you are encouraged to do this if you are unfamiliar with our facilities. How do I make a booking? Simply call our events team on or info@garlandscorporate.co.uk and we will check availability. We will hold a provisional booking for up to 7 days and a deposit will be required to confirm a booking. How is payment taken? A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm an event which you will be invoiced for. You will then be invoiced for the remaining balance to be paid at least 14 days before the event. Do you have any accommodation on site? Yes, we have 8 bedrooms within the Mythe Barn complex for the exclusive use of event delegates and staff. These can only be booked as part of a Mythe Barn event or conference. We can also recommend several local hotels depending on budget. Can we hire the venue for a photoshoot or for filming? Our venue has regularly been used for all kinds of shoots. Please contact one of our events team to discuss your requirements as detailed. 26

Go over the roundabout and turn left at the next junction onto Sheepy Road. Take the next right onto Pinwall Lane, go straight over the next junction and Mythe Farm is at the end of that lane, right before the next junction. From the North A444 Follow the Sibson Road signposted Ratcliffe Culey, Go through the village and over the bridge and you will see the entrance to Mythe Farm on the left at the next junction with Pinwall Lane. From the East and M1 Follow the A5 west towards Atherstone. Take the A444 towards Twycross and take the Sibson Road signposted Ratcliffe Culey and follow the directions above.
