Wachvia Center (Chad Cwger, Clancy & Theys) Building A Clancy & Theys have been fielding multiple phne calls regarding the Office Twer and the fact that there are "slping clumns" arund the perimeter f the building. These slping clumns are nt a mistake but instead a functin f the Structural Design. S thugh the slping effect lks ut f place frm the street, the building is structurally sund and it is nt ging t fall. Puring Cncrete n the 20th level starting tday. Finishing fundatins fr the Ramp int the Garage frm Charltte Street. Start Cncrete Walls next week fr Ramp. Plumbing rugh in n ging up t level 12 HVAC Rugh-in n-ging n the 1st flr and the Stair shafts. Furnishing and Owner FFE installatin will begin n Wednesday April 1, First Flr/Cmmn Area/Back f Huse: Pl area cmplete except fr plaster and water; which will be cmplete by April 3, Wall cvering is being installed in the lbby and ther cmmn areas and will be cmplete March 29, 2009.

Sewer cnstructin is n ging and is expect t take 1 mnth t cmplete. Parking validatin is available at the Yrk Street Garage t thse affected by Nrflk Utilities cnstructin. Yarmuth Street suth f the Bute Street intersectin, sewer cnstructin is starting and is expected t last frm 2-3 mnths. Once wrk is cmpleted n Dunmre Street, crews will mve t Freemasn Street t begin water and sewer installatins. 3 Fireprfing f structural steel started Thursday. Spray fam insulatin and drywall f exterir walls is 50% cmplete. Repair f exterir stucc and painting exterir is 80% cmplete. The Tide (Light Rail) (Barry Hertslet, HRT) Drainage, electrical, and Backfilling wrk is cntinuing alng the LRT alignment. The City is wrking t replace as many trees as pssible alng the LRT alignment. Track welding cntinues alng alignment. West Yrk Street The crane will be mved frm the west bank f Smith Creek by barge. Wrk will start n r abut March 26, 2009 and cntinue thrugh July Wrk alng the West Yrk Street alignment will be in tw phases. Phase 1: the nrth side f West Yrk Street will be clsed with traffic shifting t the suth side f the street. Phase 2: the suth side f West Yrk Street will be clsed with traffic shifting t the nrth side f the street. On street parking will be remved. West Yrk Street wrk in the demlitin, relcatins, sewer line and track installatins. New curb, gutter, and pavement will als be installed. Wrk will be by Verizn, VNG, and Skanska. They will crdinate their wrk and then flip t the ther side. Existing parking lt alng the Yrk Street alignment will be used by Skanska t park cnstructin vehicles and equipment nly.
