2 Spectator Parking Entrance to the Spectator Parking area is on South roadbent lvd. Please see ontest Overview Map. There is no charge for parking Staff adges and Pit Passes Your W staff passes will allow entrance into the stadium all day. Please keep visible when entering the stadium. ands entering W events in 1,, and 3 classes will receive ten (10) staff passes. 4 and 5 bands will receive one (1) staff pass for every ten performers. ands will also receive a similar number of Pit Passes allowing pit crew to set up equipment and/or props. Performer/Staff Entry Performers in uniform/costume do not need to wear wristbands for performance, as all uniformed students will be admitted. Performers out of uniform will need a wristband given to you at and heck-in. ll pit crew/non-uniformed personnel will need to have a Pit Pass or official W pass in order to be admitted to the Stadium. Please inform your students and staff of these policies. us/truck Parking The and Truck/us parking area entrance is located on East Russell Road. Please refer to ontest Site Overview Map for your band s assigned parking area. W volunteers will be on hand to meet you upon arrival and will give your drivers parking instructions. Only buses and trucks will be allowed in this area. ars and vans must park in the Spectator Parking area. Please refer to the ontest Site Overview Map. and Warm-Up Please see ontest Overview Map for designated warm-up area. e considerate of the band performing on the field and make sure your band is facing a direction that will not disrupt the performances in the stadium. There can be no sound bleed into the stadium. ll warm up areas are asphalt surfaces. The use of r. eats, jam blocks, other time keeping devices and the use of long rangers and megaphone amplification devices cannot interfere with the performances occurring in the stadium. ny band using these devices during their warm-up and disrupting a competing band in the stadium may receive a ONE POINT penalty to be assessed by the chief judge. It is your responsibility to manage your warm-up and report to the performance entry at your designated time. Your pit and props should move toward the Field Entrance 15 minutes prior to the rest of the band. Motorized Vehicles in the Stadium t no time may a motorized vehicle be inside the performance area of the field. They can only be driven on the turf surrounding the field and not on the performance field, the end zone or the white sideline. 2

3 Hash Marks The field will have TWO sets of markings: High School markings dividing the field into equal thirds, 53'4" from the front and back sidelines. We will chalk these hash marks for the event. N markings 60 from the front and back sidelines, 40 apart. These will be permanent. Please inform your students and visual staff. We suggest you consider painting college hash marks on your practice field prior to this event. Restrooms and hanging Facilities There will be portable restrooms located in each of the us/truck parking lots as well as restrooms in the stadium. ecause of the limited facilities for changing, we encourage you to come in uniform. and Food Service Grilling and open flames are prohibited in the us/truck parking areas per University of Las Vegas. University police will be patrolling these areas to insure adherence to this policy. Outside food and beverages are NOT allowed in the stadium. Please inform your students and boosters of this policy. Please do not leave any garbage behind; it is your responsibility to clean up after your band and remove all trash. ands not following this policy may be assessed a fee post-event should University of Las Vegas charge W for cleanup of your parking area. Tiebreaker Rule wards W tiebreaker rule states that whenever a tie occurs, the band that has the higher score in General Effect will become the higher placing band. If GE scores are tied, then the Music score will break the tie. Finale will be drum majors only. ll drum majors should report to Performance Entrance at conclusion of last performing band. Photography & Video ny liability associated with unauthorized recordings will rest with the individual or organization making the recording. WGI does not condone, nor accept any liability for, any unauthorized recording during the event. Still cameras (digital or film, professional or otherwise) are allowed into the stadium and may be used from stadium seating, but cameras of any kind are not allowed on the field for this event. Please communicate this to your parent/booster group. Tripods or other similar equipment that may obstruct the view or path of travel of others in seating areas are not allowed.
