Ladies Club Our annual potluck picnic will be held on Thursday, August 3 at noon in the Viking Room and on the deck. Be sure to bring a favorite dish to share. We will set up in the Viking Room and members may eat inside or outside. Come on in around 11:30 for a little visit and catch up on summer activities. Thanks to the many ladies club members and Lodge members who worked the two catered events in July. We will be calling on members to work the three August events From the Sports Director Thanks for those who signed up for kayaking, it is a popular and fun activity for the lodge. Hopefully it will be an annual event to enjoy the beauty of our area. The Knudson/Berg Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday the 27th of August at 2 pm at Meadowmeer Golf Club on Bainbridge Island. Long drive and closest to pin competition included. Hope you can make it. Bring a friend who may be thinking of joining our lodge to see what fun we have! Alisha Anunson, Rhonda Mitchusson, Kathy Moncrief and Rob Kodalen have agreed to help work with committee members and volunteers to help plan, organize and run the Bazaar. Trollhaugen Did you know that over 40 members of the Poulsbo Sons of Norway helped prepare the ground for pouring the concert basement floor at Trollhaugen 45 years ago? Over the years Poulsbo Sons of Norway Members have continued to contribute volunteer time and effort to our District 2 mountain retreat. Congratulations to Wade Moncrief and Roger Spray who both revived Tussen Takk awards at the Trollhaguen 45 th Anniversary celebration.

2 Hilsen fra Presidenten, This summer has been very busy with rentals which are held in our Marine or Viking Rooms These rentals can be events such as a wedding, reception, memorial, reunion or other gathering. Rentals keep our lodge alive but it takes an army to pull this off. Thanks to our Office Manager Vicky Spray for bringing in this business and organizing what is needed. We have a first-class caterer Shirley Rice. Thanks to our Volunteers such as Ladies Club who serve and clean up. and the volunteer hosts who man the doors. I cannot understate the importance of volunteering as it is essential in supporting the Lodge but also a great way to build relationships. Right now, we have a definite need for help on Rotary Breakfast, Friday Night dinners, or the Wednesday lunch time crews. We once again had a successful Luau which got us into the Aloha Spirit. Thanks once again to Rhonda Mitchusson for organizing this event and to Maggie Gresham for decorating. Also thanks to Paul Anunson for organizing kayaking around Liberty Bay event. Each Ad space will measure about 3.5 x 3 and would cost $30 per month. Advertising spaces will be available on this page. Advertisers will provide their own ads, in.jpg or.png. Payment is made in advance with the office. Advertisements will be accepted on a first come first served basis and priority will be given to businesses owned or operated by lodge members.
