1 General Information Convention Registration & Check-In At Check-in/Registration, attendees pick up their programs and name badges. All convention attendees MUST wear name badges at all times while attending the Convention. Registration and Check-in is located in the Hilton Atlanta (255 Courtland Street NE), Second Level. Registration hours are: Tuesday, March 15: 11:00am 6:00pm Wednesday, March 16 Friday, March 18: 7:30am 6:00pm Saturday, March 19: 8:00am 4:00pm Convention Schedule Panel Schedule Panels begin Wednesday, March 16, at 8:15am and end on Saturday, March 19, at 5:45pm. All panels will take place at the Hilton Atlanta (255 Courtland Street NE) and the Sheraton Atlanta (165 Courtland Street NE) - see maps located in the back of the program. Exhibit Hall The Exhibit Hall showcases over 80 publishers, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and universities who come to the ISA Annual Convention. All convention attendees MUST wear name badges to enter the Exhibit Hall. The Exhibit Hall is located in the Galleria, Lower Level, and hours are as follows: Wednesday, March 16: 1:00pm 6:00pm Thursday, March 17 Friday, March 18: 9:00am 6:00pm Saturday, March 19: 9:00am 12:00noon ISA Membership Services Personalized Schedule Create a personalized schedule of panels, meetings & receptions on isanet.org and download it on your mobile device. Or print your schedule at home and carry it with you. ISA staff are available at the convention to assist attendees with membership services including renewals, profile updates, and account questions. 2 General Information Panel & Presentation Technology In panel rooms and parlor suites, ISA will provide the following: LCD Projector Netbook Computer (Windows-based) Adobe PDF Reader and Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint DO NOT DISCONNECT THE ISA NETBOOK COMPUTER. Presenters are expected to bring presentations on a flashdrive that can be inserted into a Windows-based computer. Presenters needing technical support in a meeting room or parlor suite: Dial the hotel operator from the meeting room house phone in either hotel and ask for audio visual assistance. Technicians from the hotel s AV company will respond within minutes. Technicians are also in the meeting rooms and hallways between sessions. Note: ISA does not provide audio, internet, or overhead projectors in the meeting rooms except in designated media rooms. Internet Options Internet is NOT available in the meeting room spaces without prior arrangements between the hotel and individual panelists. To purchase guestroom internet, follow the instructions posted in your room. Each hotel has a few free internet stations available for guest-use in the respective lobbies. Additionally, workstations for rent are available at the business centers at any of the hotels. Cyber Café Station & WiFi Lounge The Cyber Café and the WiFi Lounge offers attendees the opportunity to briefly check their and access the internet. These can be found in the Exhibit Hall, located in the Galleria, Lower Level (available only during Exhibit hours). Travel Grant Disbursement Cyber Café & WiFi Lounge Sponsors Wednesday, March 16 ISA Thursday, March 17 Oxford Friday, March 18 Routledge Saturday, March 19 ISA Travel Grant awards will be distributed via PayPal s secure funds transfer system. Onsite, recipients need to check-in with the travel grant desk to verify receipts, valid form of I.D., and address in order to receive funds. Please checkin at the ISA On-Site Registration area in the Hilton Atlanta during the times listed below. Failure to check-in during the times listed below will result in forfeiture of travel funds. Limited checks will be issued only upon prior arrangement with ISA HQ.
