2 Innovation. Innovation is our buzzword this upcoming 40 th PAWD National Convention. With Water districts: Addressing challenges through innovations, as our theme, the 2019 convention will revolve around national pressing issues affecting the Philippine water sector, forcing water districts to innovate and develop practices crucial to their everyday operation. The convention will surely provide a venue for all stakeholders to discuss and further deepen their understanding of the ever-changing landscape of the Philippine water sector, putting the spotlight this time on financing sources, ISO certification compliance, NRW management, and more. Since the annual convention is turning 40 next year we have prepared a convention that fits all our expectations: more flexible schedule for learning sessions, offsite auxiliary events, and new addition to our staples such as tennis tournament, pre-valentine concert, and grand benefit raffle. Registration is still at Php 6,000,00 inclusive of entrance fee to learning sessions and exhibition, convention kit, meal tickets on the 12 th and 13 th, etc. A discounted rate of Php 5, will be given to water districts with less than 1,000 service connections. LWUA CONSULTATIONS Converse with key LWUA personnel and get to know their insights personally, right at the very venue. FELLOWSHIP NIGHT Witness our host, the Southern Tagalog Association of s, put up a night of party and glamour as we welcome the 40 th staging of PAWD Convention. LEARNING SESSIONS Six important topics were chosen to be part of this year s Convention. Expect a set of topics that addresses issues from financing sources, ISO certification compliance, up to NRW management. EXHIBITION -13 & Meet face to face with representatives from 120+ water-related suppliers and companies. LEADERSHIP TALK Upgrade your management skills to the next level together with an established motivational and inspirational speaker in the country.

5 G R A N D E R. THE CONVENTION OF MANY FIRSTS. Every convention has its own colour, flavour, and allure. This year, we have added an extra recipe we have seasoned it with additional purpose. Thus the birth of another first: a grand raffle. Proceeds of the Grand Benefit Raffle will be used to fund competency-based trainings, donations for calamity-stricken water districts, and computer sets for select Category D water districts. Meanwhile, two simultaneous events will kick off the convention: Wastewater Sanitation and Technology Pitching. We have also included another sports activity the Tennis Tournament.
