5 Note from Information Exchange Group The inaugural edition of the Hospitality Business Conclave was held on the 25 th of January at the beautiful and luxurious Park Hyatt, Marina Club & Spa in Jeddah. The event saw coming together of the most senior stakeholders in the Hospitality industry from Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah region. The delegates had been invited based on their seniority and buying power in order to meet the world class solution providers who had been carefully picked by the Information Exchange Group to showcase how innovation and sustainable solutions will take the Hospitality sector in the region to the next level. The most exclusive venue and handpicked selection of invited professionals made it a very exciting gathering where attendees could exchange valuable insights on how to collaborate to achieve organizational objectives. 11 Summit Highlights 25 th January, 2016 Denis Sorin, President, Dur Hospitality moderated a very interactive panel discussion on the very important topic of sustainability and luxury going hand in hand. The discussion also covered Saudization and ways to attract local talent in the Hospitality industry in the Kingdom. He was joined by Ashwini Kumar, General Manager at Park Hyatt Marina Club and Spa and Mohammad Siddiqi, General Manager at Swissotel Makkah Shuja Zaidi, Owner Representative & Chairman s Advisor at Jabal Omar Development Company delivering the opening Keynote. He shared the ongoing project developments from Makkah and how Jabal Omar Development Company is reshaping the hospitality landscape in the Holy City Networking sessions allowed the delegates to interact in a very candid and exclusive environment to discuss their business challenges and objectives Averda Solutions, a leading Waste Management and Sustainability consultant was interviewed by CNBC and he shared his ideas on the very important topic Matthew Cropp, Director of Culinary and Austine Jarome, Director of Purchasing at Al Khozama Management company led the roundtable discussion which covered matching international standards and the power of e-procurement Pre scheduled one on one business meetings with world class solution providers helped senior buyers from the industry to look at innovative solutions for their project requirements

12 Marketing Performance The marketing campaign started as early as 22 weeks before the conference. Besides using traditional marketing channels such as brochure mailing and e-newsletters, we invested more on digital marketing focusing on content driven activities and worked closely with our sponsors and partners. Social Media Promotion Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and G+ were highly leveraged for social media marketing. The event s news and announcements were mentioned on the organizer s social media accounts. Live tweeting and re-tweeting was done on event days to maximize engagement with the attendees, using event hashtag #Hospitality2016.

14 Marketing campaigns were carried out 20 weeks from the event, targeting different segments of the hospitality industry with 14 dedicated and 6 non-dedicated e-shots, reaching out to almost 1,00,000 contacts in total. In addition, we worked very closely with our media partners and endorsing associations to market the event. Partnership Support (Partner Associations & Media Partners) We partnered with leading hospitality associations, and had banners and events listing on their websites. broadcasts and newsletters were also sent out to their members.

15 Online Banners & Event Listings Banner ads were placed on association and media partners sites. In addition, the conference was featured in the Calendar of Events section of our associations and media partners, and was also listed on conference/trade websites.
