Sell tickets on other outlets e.g. malls, stalls to reduce queuing at Ticket Stations Develop good and leisurable waiting space Clean Comfort Rooms Provide WIFI Increase police presence in the train and station platforms to mitigate security threats 5

6 Deliverables (100 days) Rail MRT3: Improve Capacity More running trains from 16-trains with a total of 48-cars to 20-trains with a total of 60- cars Improve tracks and increase train speed from 40 to 50kph. Reduce Headway from 5-minutes to 4.5 minutes Net Result is the increase of PPHPD from 14,184 to 15,760.

7 Deliverables (100 days) Rail MRT3: Improve Capacity 1 Year Maintain the 20-trains with a total of 80- cars Maintain train speed at 60kph. Reduce Headway from 3.75-minutes to 3.00 minutes This will be achieved by adding making the cars from 3 to 4, by complete replacement of the signaling system, upgrading power supply. Net result is the increase of PPHPD from 18,912 to 31,520 7

8 Deliverables (100 days) Rail LRT Line 1 and 2 Extend operating hours from 9:30pm to 10:15pm: To absorb more passengers, reduce queuing, and synchronize with other rail lines Fix the delay in the procurement of additional trains Deliver right-of-way to address Line 1 extension delays 8
