Arrival to Firebag Aerodrome When you arrive at the Firebag Aerodrome you will deplane and proceed through security into the terminal building. Please inform security if you are a new employee, and that you are travelling directly to the Fort Hills site. All mobilized contractors and employees will be asked to show their badges. Proceed to collect your bags out in front of the terminal and board the bus to Fort Hills. If you are unsure please ask a driver for directions to the bus you need to be on. Please board the bus marked with the name of the lodge that is on your reservation confirmation. Unless you have made alternate arrangements with your leader, when you arrive at the Fort Hills site (travel time is approximately 90 minutes), notify security at the gate when they board the bus to scan badges that you are a new hire and that you will be proceeding straight to the lodge. If you are going to Mount Robson Lodge, you will sign in at security, get your photo taken and receive your visitor ID badge. This visitor badge will allow you to check in to your lodge room and will be replaced by your official Suncor ID once you have completed your full site orientation. You will be required to present government-issued picture ID to Suncor security to receive your Suncor employee badge. Travellers are encouraged to complete the Fort Hills site orientation prior to arrival. Orientation can be completed online at Lodge Information Hotelling You will be hotelling for the duration of your stay. Hotelling at a Suncor-owned or third-party lodge is much like staying in a regular hotel: once you check in, the room is yours for the duration of your stay. When your shift ends, you must pack up your belongings and check out so the room can be prepared for the next guest. Lodge Check-In 1. Workers requiring accommodation will be provided a lodge room based on effectiveness and efficiency. 2. Please check in at the main reception upon arrival where you will receive your swipe building/room access or hard key depending upon lodge set-up. 3. Once a year you will be required to review and sign off on Suncor s Drug Interdiction Acknowledgement and Consent form as well as the Rules and Regulations of the lodge you are staying at. Once baggage has been retrieved from storage, board the bus to the appropriate lodge listed on your reservation. Lodge Check Out 1. If keys or cards were not returned, contact your travel coordinator immediately. Guest or contractor may face financial penalty should keys/cards not be returned 7. Remember to pack up all your personal belongings. SUPPORT SERVICES Page 5

6 8. If baggage storage is available in your lodge please store it before you go to work or take it with you to work. Your employer should be able to assist you with this. 9. If your lodge has baggage storage you will be able to leave two pieces of baggage (up to 27 kg/60 lb. combined) in storage while you are away. There is no guarantee that you will be returning to the same lodge. Should you be placed at a different lodge, please ensure you to pick up your baggage from the appropriate lodge upon your return. 10. Check with your employer to see if you will be storing baggage at the lodge you are leaving or if you will need to take it on the bus with you to be stored at an alternate location while you are on days off. 11. After you return to the lodge from your last shift, you will have limited time to collect your baggage, shower (in designated area) and be prepared to board the coach to the Aerodrome for your flight home. 12. Depending on time of day there may be a boxed hotelling meal provided for travel to the aerodrome. As some travellers do depart outside of the program parameters, meals and shower rooms may not be guaranteed. 13. Should check out not be completed, Suncor reserves the right to remove and store belongings so room can be utilized. Employers may be charged should check out not be completed. Departure Day - Busing 1. Workers are encouraged to visit sunlink.suncor.com/forthills for the most up to date schedules. Schedules can also be found at the entrance of each lodge and most front desk locations. 2. The travel time to the Aerodrome from your designated lodge will vary depending on location and road/weather conditions. 3. Buses are available for loading 10 minutes before departure for the Aerodrome. Please ensure to board the bus that is designated for your flight number specifically. Travel time is approximately minutes. 4. You must travel to the Aerodrome on the approved bus. There is no access or parking for private or company vehicles at the Aerodrome. 5. You are responsible for placing and removing your baggage in the bus storage compartment. The baggage bay door will be opened by the bus driver only. 6. Your employer is responsible for giving advance notice to the Aerodrome via Fort Hills Travel that baggage storage is required. 7. If you miss your flight or need to change your reservations for either flight or lodge room, please contact your travel coordinator as soon as possible. Aerodrome and Lodge staff are not able to change or modify reservations. SUPPORT SERVICES Page 6
