The town offers a great medical clinic, good schools, festivals, numerous shops, restaurants, motels, professional services (basically all the amenities you would ever require), except those who crave the big box stores which can be found in Kamloops and less than 1 hour away. Kamloops is the largest city in the Thompson Nicola region with a population of approximately 90,000.
